Elsewhere,

At Ramon and Clara's house,

Anna Patricia is there with her mother. She is nervous about that day. Clara looks at her daughter and tells her to have faith in the children. She adds that they are smart and have gone through their plan as well as what to do if something goes wrong. Anna Patricia says that she is a little scared but she knows that things will be okay. Clara looks at her daughter again and asks her if it is Gabriel she is worried about. Anna Patricia tells her mother that she doesn't understand her.

Clara says that she knows that she is in love with Gabriel. Anna Patricia looks uncomfortable at the subject and denies having any feelings for Gabriel. Clara gives her an I don't believe you look. She tells Anna Patricia that she has been on this earth for much longer than her and anyway she is her mother and she knows her quite well. Anna Patricia ignores her mother. Clara tells her that she knows that she is listening, even if she is pretending not to.

At Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Delia has arrived. She takes a deep breath and knocks. Adrianna goes and opens the door. She welcomes her in. They walk together towards the sitting/dining room where Hernan is still there with his father talking. They stop when Adrianna comes in with Delia. After greetings Adrianna asks Delia if she wants anything before, she starts. Delia says that coffee will be fine. Adrianna says that she will get the coffee.

Back at Ramon and Clara's house,

Anna Patricia tells her mother that love with him would be very complicated. Clara asks her what complications those would be. Anna Patricia says that for one he is still married to Helena and they both know how crazy and evil the woman can be. Clara admits that Helena is evil but it has been nearly twenty-two years since Gabriel's believed death. She adds that whatever marriage they had cannot be valid after over two decades of Gabriel's supposed death.

She further points out that Helena married Carlos. Anna Patricia says all that may be true but as long as the Montes De Alba fortune is involved, Helena is capable of anything. She adds that the money is all Helena has ever cared about. Clara says that is true but she is strong. Anna Patricia says that after all the disappointments that have happened, she couldn't handle more. Clara says that Gabriel is perfect for her and things will work themselves out for her this time. Anna Patricia frowns. She says that she is past waiting for or looking for love. Clara tells her to be patient.

Sometime later,

Back at Montes De Alba Inc.,

The board room is starting to fill up, as one by one the company's shareholders and board members start to come in. Gabriela, Aranza, and Aurelio are among those who have arrived. Helena gives Gabriela a subtle side-eye. Gabriela ignores her. She tells herself that today is the beginning of the end for Helena and Carlos.

At the hospital,

Santiago is continuing to recover. After all the days that have passed, he hadn't forgotten the visions he had of his late wife and son. One thing, in particular, stood out for him. He remembers his wife mentioning that their family will grow. He asks himself how that will happen. He adds that he still doesn't understand what she meant.

Back at Montes De Alba Inc.,

Everyone who has to be there is there except for Hernan, Adrianna, and Antonio. Helena has already started the meeting. She looks at Aranza then at Gabriela. She says that since the most important order of business is to officially usher her (Gabriela) and her brother into the company they both have to be there. Gabriela says that Hernan is coming, as are Antonio and Adrianna. She says that they can continue and her brother will join them as they go along.

Elsewhere,

At Horacio's house,

He is there with Isabella and Alejandro. They are discussing the twins regaining their legal identities. Horacio says that he won't leave Gabriela alone and will ensure he gets a slice of her family fortune as her husband.

Shortly after,

Back at Montes De Alba Inc.,

Helena asks Gabriela to remind her brother that the day was going to be a very busy one and that he needed to keep time. Gabriela looks at Helena. She then says that both she and Hernan know the importance of the day. She then assures the board that he is coming. Helena is about to begin her speech but then there is a knock on the door and Adrianna comes in. She apologizes for the lateness and enters followed by Antonio. They proceed to sit down. Hernan then enters. He apologizes for being late and says that it wasn't for lack of consideration for people's time but for a very good reason. He then turns and tells an unseen person that they can come in.

Gabriel comes in. He is finely dressed but has a disguise on. He also has dark glasses on. No one has recognized him yet. Helena looks at Gabriel and is immediately filled with dread. Who is he? Carlos looks at Hernan and asks him what that man (Gabriel) is doing there. He adds that it is only people who have to be there that should be there. Hernan tells him that everyone who is there should be there. Hernan looks at his sister and pauses. It is time. Helena asks herself what the twins are up to. Hernan tells his father to introduce himself. Everyone not in the know watches curiously as Gabriel peels of each layer that hides his identity.

There are murmurs as the board, Helena, and Carlos whisper among themselves. Helena watches her daughter smile and asks herself what she did. When Gabriel is done, there is pin-drop silence in the office. Helena's face is deathly pale. It may have been nearly twenty-two years, but she would recognize Gabriel Montes De Alba's face anywhere. He was older and tired, but it was still him. He had that same wry mischievous smile that he passed on to all his three children. Gabriel looks at Helena then at Carlos. He asks them if they have anything to say to him.

At Martin's house,

Marianna is alone as Dianna has gone to school. She hears a knock on the door and goes towards it. She asks who it is and the other person replies. It's Clara. Marianna sighs inwardly. She says to herself that she knows that Clara is there to grill her about Martin. She adds that she doesn't need anyone else assuming she and Martin are in a relationship. Clara knocks again and tells her that she is still waiting.

Marianna takes a deep breath and opens the door. She greets Clara and ushers her in. Clara stares at her and tells her to relax. She says she won't eat her. Marianna smiles and asks her what she would like to have. Clara says that she would like juice or water. Marianna tells her to wait in the sitting room and she will be there very soon. Clara goes into the sitting room and waits.

Back at Montes De Alba Inc.,

Gabriel and Hernan go and sit down. Carlos and Helena are still shocked. Gabriel is alive. How did the children pull of keeping something that big from everyone? Gabriel says that he knows that they (Helena, Carlos, and the rest of the board) have a lot of questions but they aren't in the right place, nor is it the right time to answer them.

He adds that what is important is that he witnesses his children regaining their places. He then looks at Carlos and Helena again. The documents that the twins are to sign are brought. Hernan and Gabriela look at each other. That was it. The time they had been patiently waiting for, for years had reached. Hernan lets his sister sign first. She is surprised. It is so unlike her brother to not want to be the first one to do things. He smiles at her, and she signs.

Shortly after,

Back at Martin's house,

Clara and Marianna are in Martin's sitting room. Clara asks Marianna if she and her daughter are okay. Marianna says that they are fine. Clara sips her juice asks her how well she is getting along with Martin. Marianna says that Martin is a good person and despite all her mistakes, he has treated her well and is willing to help her get a second chance at life. Clara smiles and says that her grandson is a good person with a generous heart. Marianna agrees. Clara says that she has some concerns about her living there. Marianna assures Clara that she is working hard to be a better person, mostly for her daughter.

She adds that she knows that she has hurt a lot of people and she is sorry for it and she isn't going to scheme against Martin. Clara says that she believes her. She tells Marianna that she can sense that she is genuine. Marianna asks her what the problem is then. Clara says that she thinks that she and Martin are setting themselves up for a very complicated situation. Marianna asks Clara what she means. Clara says that they are both young and single and despite everything, an attraction could happen. Marianna looks at Clara a little shocked. The woman is very bold. Marianna insists that nothing is going on between her and Martin.

She adds that he has never tried to show any interest in her or make a pass at her. She continues and says that she isn't interested in him either.

Clara shrugs and says that doesn't mean anything and the longer she stays with Martin, the more it is likely to change. Marianna says that she hadn't planned to stay for more than a week or two. She adds that she only wanted to stay as she recovered but then Dianna came over and Martin suggested that she continue staying there because it was a better environment for them than her house because of Alejandro. Clara asks Marianna whether she and Martin agreed on the amount of time she should stay with him.

Elsewhere,

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

Helena suggests that they postpone the rest of the day's agenda, because of the unexpected turn of events (Gabriel's return). There are murmurs in the boardroom. Gabriel says that it's not necessary to postpone any of what they had planned to do. He says that they should continue and he will sit in and listen.

Back at Martin's house,

Marianna admits that they haven't discussed how long she should stay. She also admits that she feels that Martin's house is a better place for her to stay and grow closer to her daughter. Clara says that it is, but the truth is that they don't know how long it will be before Alejandro and the others are caught and things are likely to get complicated in so many ways. She adds that for instance Martin and Dianna are getting attached to each other. Marianna agrees that Martin has been fantastic with Dianna and she loves him too. Clara points out that they (Martin and Dianna) will both be affected if Dianna ends up elsewhere.

Marianna ponders this. She then looks at Clara and asks her what she thinks she should do. Clara says that she should have a serious discussion with Martin and Adrianna about a more permanent and stable situation for Dianna. She adds that it has been a confusing time for the child and what she needs is stability. Marianna says that Martin seems much happier with Dianna around, like that part of him that died when Emma and his child were killed is slowly coming to life again. Clara smiles and says that Martin treats Dianna like the child he was going to have. Marianna is filled with guilt. She has already done a lot of damage to Dianna's life. What should she do?

Meanwhile,

Sometime later,

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

The meeting had long ended and people had gone back to work. Carlos and Helena had retreated to Carlos' office. They were discussing what to do about Gabriel. Carlos says that they got rid of Gabriel once and they will do it again. Helena glares at him. Carlos asks her if her concerns are because she is still in love with Gabriel. Helena tells Carlos to stop being ridiculous.

She says that just like him she is concerned about their future at the company. She then says that if anything happens to Gabriel now, it will be fishy and will work against them. She says that they need to be careful with what they do next and think things through. Carlos says that the more time that they take to do something, the more the twins and their father will grow their influence in the company.

Meanwhile,

Word had got out that Gabriel Montes De Alba was alive. The company was abuzz with this shocking news. The news has spread far and wide. It was all everyone was talking about. Antonio and Gabriela had taken her father to their house. They had decided to go back to their houses. It had been a long and draining morning.

At Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Hernan is sitting on the chair busy lost in his thoughts. Adrianna comes in and asks him what he is thinking about. He says that he was thinking about Helena and Carlos. He says that knowing the two of them, they won't let any of what happened that day, go down without a fight. Adrianna agrees. She says that they are probably planning something right then.

Hernan says that he was always afraid of this part reaching because there was virtually no proof against Helena and Carlos and so getting them out of the company will be very difficult. He adds that also many years have passed and the case cannot be investigated. Adrianna says that they need to have faith. She says that Helena and Carlos's crimes won't go unpunished. Hernan says he hopes so, but after so many years, he is sure, that the evidence has been lost or damaged and they have an uphill task.
