Elsewhere at Martin's house,

Marianna is still awake. No matter how much she tries to sleep, she can't. She looks at Dianna peacefully asleep in their bed and kisses her daughter. She runs a hand through her hair. She says to herself that she understands Martin less and less each day. Giving her a second chance is one thing, but he allowed her and now her daughter into his house? She asks herself just what he is upto. She admits that she misjudged Martin and that he is a nice person.

Back at Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Antonio says that after a lot of research he found Diego's daughter. Gabriela says that is good news. She says that as soon as they finish with her father's reveal, they should focus on Diego's daughter. Antonio begins to pace again. Gabriela asks him if he told her the whole story. Antonio says that it's complicated. Gabriela says that she understands that it will be awkward for the Holguain family as well as the daughter, to discover each other so late in life.

She says that she too had similar feelings because, after so many years of thinking her father was dead, she finds out that he is alive but sick. She adds that despite the emotional turmoil, she is sure, Mr. Santiago will be happy. Antonio says that Marianna is that daughter. Gabriela is even more shocked. She asks Antonio if he would know why Renata fainted when she saw Marianna. Antonio says that Marianna looks like a carbon copy of her late grandmother when she was younger. Gabriela says that they have to do the right thing.

She says that she knows that Thiago will be happy to know that he has a cousin and that Mr. Santiago will be happy to know that he has a granddaughter and great-granddaughter from his late son. Antonio says that they will do that, after her father's reveal. Gabriela says that they should do it as soon as possible. Antonio reminds her that if they reveal who Marianna is, they will alert his father and Helena that he was doing some kind of research and that will ruin their plans and put her father and Delia at risk. Gabriela reluctantly agrees. Antonio hugs her then kisses her and she kisses him back.

The next day on Friday,

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

Gabriela, Antonio, Hernan, Adrianna, Aranza, Aurelio, Helena, and Carlos are in a meeting with the board of Montes De Alba Inc. It is their first meeting since the twins got back their legal identities. If looks could kill both twins would be dead from the looks Helena and Carlos were giving them. Hernan says to himself that it doesn't matter what Helena or Carlos thinks or feels because soon his father will be back to take up his rightful position. Helena as the company head, says that the meeting has been called to introduce Hernan and Gabriela, Gabriel's children back into the company, after their unfortunate long absence.

Gabriela rolls her eyes. She says to herself, unfortunate my foot, when Helena and Carlos tried to kill her, her brother, and their father on purpose. She then goes back to Helena's speech. Helena says that it was a very traumatic time for everyone when the twins went missing so soon after their father's tragic death. She adds that they tried looking for them soon after but unfortunately the twins had already wandered off and remained missing for years. Helena says that all of that is in the past and what matters is that the twins are back.

Meanwhile,

At Martin's house,

Marianna is in the kitchen. She has opened the fridge and some cupboards. She removes some flour and bowls. There is also an open book and a biro. She says that she will see what she can make from what ingredients are available. She continues and says that she wants to make something nice for her daughter. She adds that she has made a lot of mistakes but she will make it up to her daughter.

Back at Montes De Alba Inc.,

Hernan is now talking. He says that the meeting was primarily an introduction, after the legalities of him and his sister getting back their identities, were done. He adds that as time passes both he and his sister will get more involved in the management of the company at higher levels. He adds that starting as soon as the next day, they will be junior partners of sorts, as they prepare a transition into the future of the company. Carlos says to himself that he got rid of Hernan and his sister once and he will do it again. He adds to himself that he will wipe out the whole family if necessary. Helena says to herself that she will not let that happen.

Elsewhere at the hospital,

Renata has gone to visit her grandfather again. As always, he is happy to see her. She hugs him and kisses him on his forehead. He looks at her and asks her what she is upto. Renata denies that she is doing anything. She says that she brought him a visitor. Santiago asks her if it is her parents or Thiago. Renata says that it is neither of them. She then walks to the door and speaks to someone. She then comes in with Claudia and introduces her. Santiago thanks her for saving him. Claudia says that it's not a problem. Renata tells her grandfather that she will be back in a short while and leaves.

Later in the evening,

At Martin's house,

He has just arrived. The smell coming from the kitchen is very inviting. He locks the door and walks towards the kitchen and for a moment stares at the scene before him. Marianna has made a makeshift apron and her dark curly hair has been neatly tied in a headscarf. Dianna is also dressed similarly. When Marianna sees him, she smiles and greets him. Dianna runs then hugs him. Martin carries her then walks over to Marianna. He says that the things they are baking smell good, then tries to pick up a piece but Marianna swats his hand away. She tells him to get a seat and she will give him some biscuits and juice. Martin's mind goes back to when he was a child.

His mother was making buns and he wanted to pick one and taste it. She swatted his hand and told him to sit and she will give him some to taste. Martin smiles and walks away carrying Dianna. Marianna watches them go. Martin has been so good with Dianna and she loves him to bits. Marianna says to herself that Martin would have been a very good father to his child. Marianna adds to herself that he is so attractive as well. She then paces around and says to herself that she cannot start getting involved with Martin because those are complications, she doesn't need. She adds that he hasn't shown that he wants anything with her.

Elsewhere at Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Adrianna is in the sitting room. She is worried. Alejandro keeps on getting worse. He is just more obsessed with her than ever. Why won't he sign the divorce papers and leave her alone? She just wants to live her life free from him. Hernan watches her for a few seconds before joining her. He asks her what's bothering her. She says that she was thinking about Alejandro. She says that he refused to sign the divorce papers and keeps on bothering her and is so obsessive and crazy. He comes and hugs her. He tells her that Alejandro is a battle they will fight together. He then strokes her face and begins to kiss her and she kisses him back.

Back at Martin's house,

He is carrying Dianna when she starts crying. He gets worried and asks her what the problem is. She asks him if he will take her to a bad place. Martin asks her what she means. Dianna says that she doesn't want him to take her to the place where they take children that nobody wants. Martin is surprised. He tells her that she is welcome to stay at his house for as long as she wants. Dianna asks him if she really can. Martin says that she can stay for as long as possible.

He then wipes away her tears and tells her that she can stop crying now. He hugs her. Marianna comes in with juice and biscuits for the three of them. Dianna asks him if he has a child. Martin pauses, as he remembers Emma and the child they were going to have. He then says no. Dianna says that she can be his daughter. Martin smiles and rubs her hair. Marianna's face turns pale with embarrassment. She then tells Dianna to stop asking Martin many questions. Martin tells Marianna that he doesn't mind.

At Antonio and Gabriela's house

Antonio is in the kitchen getting a glass of water when his phone rings. The phone is a blocked number. He ignores it but the phone rings again. It keeps on ringing and he decides to pick it up. Immediately he regrets doing that. It is Isabella. Antonio tells her that he has no time for her and tells her that eventually, she will have to sign the divorce papers. Isabella says that she will never sign the papers and let him run to Gabriela. Antonio sighs.

He tells her that she is a despicable person who isn't even concerned about her own son. Isabella tells him to stop being dramatic. She says that they both know that she has never been the maternal type. Antonio expected Isabella's true colors to come out at some point but even he is shocked at the bitterness and rancor in her. Even worse is her lack of interest in her son. Antonio runs a hand through his hair. Isabella is crazy. He says that very soon he will be free from her and hangs up. Isabella says that he will always be hers and no one will separate them.

Later on,

At Martin's house,

Dianna has just slept and Marianna leaves their room and finds Martin in the sitting room. He asks her if she needs something. Marianna says that she is fine. She adds that she wanted to talk to him about something. Martin says that it's not a problem. Marianna sits opposite him and apologizes on Dianna's behalf. She says that she is sorry for what her daughter said. Martin says as he said earlier he hasn't taken an offense. He says that Dianna is a child and he can imagine how she feels with all the changes happening. Marianna says that she can imagine how he feels looking at Dianna knowing what Alejandro did.

Martin becomes a little pensive then says that Dianna is an innocent child and he would never take out the rage he feels on her. He adds that she needs a lot of love because of all that is happening so that she doesn't become negatively impacted by it. Marianna still feels that Dianna made Martin feel uncomfortable. Martin stands and moves near her. He holds her hands in his. He tells her that Dianna is a child and anything she said wasn't done out of malice but out of innocence. He adds that considering that Dianna is her daughter, he isn't surprised at her personality. Marianna manages to smile.

Days pass during which Gabriel leaves the mental hospital. He goes to stay in Hernan and Adrianna's house. It was agreed that people shouldn't crowd around the house in the days leading up to the big day so that they don't raise the alarm of the people Helena and Carlos sent to follow them.

It is Thursday-the big day. It is the day that Hernan and Gabriela reveal to the world that their father is alive. The day everything changes as their last secret came out. Today all lies end and it is game on, to bring down Helena and Carlos. Today they began the journey towards getting their family company back.

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

Helena and Carlos are in Helena's office early enough. Today is the day they have been dreading. The day the twins officially come back into the company. They have been watching the twins, Adrianna, Antonio, Martin, Aranza, and Aurelio for some time but still nothing. Carlos says that there is nothing that the twins could be planning that they cannot deal with. Helena asks him what about the mad man living in Hernan's house. Carlos says that doesn't concern them because the man isn't relevant to them and isn't a threat. He says that the man has probably recovered and they want to give him a job at the company. Helena says that could be possible. Carlos insists that they have bigger things to worry about than who the twins decide to be friends with or not.

Helena agrees. She says that after the meeting, the fight for the control of the company officially begins and they need to be ready. Elsewhere at the company, the air is tense as people anxiously await the outcome of the day's events. Gabriela is with Aranza and Aurelio in the cafeteria having coffee. Aranza looks at her sister and asks her why she looks so stressed. Gabriela says that she is just worried that something might go wrong. Aranza tells her to relax. She looks around and seeing nobody says that Hernan will arrive with their father soon. Aurelio tells her that even if something were to happen, they are all there for each other.

At Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Hernan, Adrianna, and Gabriel are in the house having breakfast. Gisela has already been picked up for school. Gabriel asks Adrianna when the young woman who is going to prepare him for his grand reveal will be coming. Adrianna says that she just talked to her and, she is on her way. Gabriel says that he cannot wait to end his exile and let the world know that he is alive.

Adrianna says that they can't wait to have him spend time with his grandchildren out in the open under his legal name. Hernan adds that for the little time he and Gabriela spent with him, he was a good father and he will be an even better grandfather. Gabriel smiles. He says that he will pamper his grandchildren.
