Back at Martin's house,

Marianna says that his family, especially him have done so much for her. She adds that she feels bad invading his house, and it would be too much to expect him to add Dianna into the mix. Martin says that he is doing this because he wants to. He adds that bringing in Dianna won't be a problem. Marianna tells him that he must not know what he is talking about because having a child in his house will disrupt his life. Martin says that it's okay and he is prepared for whatever changes Dianna will bring. He adds that if Dianna is anything like her, he knows what he is getting himself into. He smiles. Marianna pokes his arm. She says that she is serious. Martin assures her that he is okay with Dianna coming over.

Three days later, it is a Saturday,

In the city,

A boy, almost twelve is walking along a park clutching a piece of paper. He stops, looks at the paper, and then continues walking. It is the same boy Antonio hit a few years back, and who found Aurelio beaten up. He walks and stands at a nearby bus stop.

Sometime later,

At Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Gabriela hears a knock on the door. She goes and opens it, and is surprised to see her sister and Aurelio. She is carrying Hannibal. She lets Aranza and Aurelio in. Gabriela puts Hannibal down and tells him to go to his uncle (Aurelio). Hannibal smiles and runs to Aurelio. Aurelio picks him up and plays with him. Gabriela asks them why they are here so early on a weekend. She narrows her eyes at her sister and asks her what she is up to this time. Aranza rolls her eyes and says that she is a sweet angel.

They then head towards the dining room. Just then Antonio comes in. He is carrying Ricardo. He asks Aranza what kind of crazy things she is up to this time. She rolls her eyes at him. Aurelio says that Aranza wanted to talk to Antonio, and was insistent that this was the safest place to do it. Gabriela is worried. What is Aranza up to? Aranza says that she just wanted to talk to him about a concern she had over the whole finding a relative of one of the three men killed.

Meanwhile at Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Adrianna comes into the kitchen and finds Hernan a little sad and pensive. She asks him what's up. Hernan says that he was thinking about something. He asks her if she remembers the boy Antonio hit with his car years earlier. Adrianna says that she does. She says that she went along with Antonio and the child on some of the hospital visits and it was also him who found Aurelio when he was beaten up. Adrianna asks him if the child is okay. Hernan says that the child is fine.

He says that it's the child's great grandfather who is unwell. He adds that the family can't afford to properly take care of him. Adrianna asks him what happened to the boy's great grandfather. Hernan says that he was involved in a car accident and is in a very serious condition. Adrianna is worried. She says that they should do everything they can to help him. She asks him if Antonio knows. Hernan says that he isn't sure.

At the hospital,

Renata Holguain sits down anxiously waiting for news on her injured grandfather. She is too nervous to do much. Through the tragedies, the families had experienced he has been the pillar. First, it was her uncle's death, then her grandmother's years later. Her parents Natalia and Damian come in. Natalia asks her where; her son Thiago is. Renata says that Thiago got bored sitting and went to the playground to stay there. Damian says that it's been a bit of time and the boy isn't back. He tells his daughter that she should check on Thiago because the child is very mischievous.

Elsewhere at the hospital,

Santiago Holguain is hanging onto life but barely. He is on the thin line between life and death. The doctors are busy, trying to save him. Santiago has a dream or vision of sorts. In it, he is in a very bright place. He is sitting on a bench. He looks at himself and is shocked to see that he has no injuries, no blood nothing. Full of curiosity, he stands up and walks around. He calls around and asks if there is anyone.

He hears no response but continues walking on. He walks through some bushes and sees another person sitting by a small pond. The person seems oddly familiar. Santiago knows that he should be afraid. He is in a strange place, he has no idea how he got there, or how he got the clothes he is wearing and he is walking towards a stranger but he feels an odd sense of peace and calmness. As he gets closer, he calls out to the person. The person turns, and Santiago, cannot believe who he is face to face with.

Back at Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Aranza says that after everything Helena and Carlos have done, they wouldn't just sit and wait to lose control of the company. She says that she knows them both well enough to know that they are schemers. Antonio asks her if she thinks that they are planning something against the rest of them. Aranza says that she isn't sure, but it could also be possible that Helena and Carlos have people watching them, to see what they are up to. Aurelio says that either way they need to be careful because of Helena and Carlos.

Gabriela agrees and adds that they need to be careful especially if they are getting someone else to help them so that they don't put that person or their family in danger. Antonio says that he has found the perfect candidate to help them. He adds that she is twenty-five, and is a niece to one of the three men. He also says that she is a fashion design graduate and can do a good enough make-up job. Aranza says that's fine, and that they will find a way to work with her in secret. She adds that if the woman can do a decent makeup job they are halfway there. Gabriela says to herself that she hopes, that the plan works.

Before anyone can say anything else, the doorbell rings. Gabriela says that she will get it. Antonio says that he will. Gabriela tells him to relax. She says that even if Helena and Carlos are following them, they wouldn't come up and knock on their door. She then goes to open it. Aranza and Antonio follow her. She glares at them but walks on. Gabriela reaches the door and opens it. She is surprised to see Thiago. She welcomes him in and asks him if his mother knows that he is here. Thiago smiles and says that he snuck out of the hospital. He then greets Antonio and Aranza. Antonio tells Thiago to walk with them back to the dining room.

Back at Hernan and Adrianna's house,

Adrianna is with Dianna in her room. She tells Dianna that she has something to tell her. Dianna looks at her quizzically. Adrianna pauses for a second as she feels fearful of how she might say what she has to say next. She takes a deep breath and asks Dianna if she would like to visit her mother for a little while. Dianna looks a little confused as she digests the information.

Adrianna says that her mother is out of the hospital, and she would like her to visit her for a little while. Dianna asks Adrianna if she will leave her. Adrianna hugs her and says that she will always love her. She adds that Marianna is her real mother, and she should also spend time with her too. Dianna says that she will have two mothers. Adrianna smiles and hugs her. She tells her that she is a special child and that is why she has a lot of people who love her.

Back at the hospital,

Damian comes back and tells his wife and daughter that Thiago, his grandson is not there. Renata begins to worry. What has her crazy son done? Where is he? Natalia says that it is strange for Thiago to leave because he loves his great grandfather very much. Renata says that the boy is definitely up to something.

Elsewhere at the hospital,

The doctors are still trying to resuscitate Santiago, who is still in his dream state. Santiago is still speechless, unable to believe who he is seeing. Still shocked, he reaches out to Diego, his younger son. He asks him what he is doing out there. Diego says that he is worried about him. Santiago says that he is old and has lived to the end of his life. He turns and says that it was him and his mother who went too soon. Santiago adds that as much as he loves his (Diego's) brother, niece, and grandson, he has never gotten over his death and that of his mother.

Diego holds his father's hands and says that he has missed him, his brother, and his niece, but life is for the living and he has to continue living because it is not his time yet. Santiago reminds Diego that it wasn't his time yet but he was killed. Santiago adds that to this day, he believes that the accident that killed him, the other medical technicians, and the rich man was no accident but was done on purpose to get the rich man's money.

Diego tells his father that he has made his peace with his early death, and wants him to do so. He adds that things have a way of sorting themselves out. Santiago insists that he is too old and wants to join him (Diego) and his mother in heaven. Diego tells him that he is still needed on earth and things will get better.

Back at Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Gabriela asks Thiago who is sick. Thiago, says that his great grandfather was involved in a car accident, and was badly injured. He says that he doesn't think that his family can afford to take care of him. Antonio asks Thiago if the whole of his family is at the hospital. Thiago says that they are. Antonio tells him that they will have to call his mother because his family must be worried.

Thiago nods nervously. He says that he knows that he might be in trouble but he loves his great grandfather so much and wants him to get better. He then adds that he calls him grandpa most of the time though.  Aranza asks Thiago, why he calls him grandfather while he is his great grandfather. Thiago says it's because he hates being called great grandfather and causes a fuss when he calls him that. Antonio says to himself that sounds like something his grandmother would say. He then tells Thiago that he can count on all of them helping.

At Martin's house,

Marianna is coming from the washroom when she hears Martin on the phone. She doesn't know who he is talking to but she hears him asking about the condition of somebody who seems to have been injured in a car accident. She asks herself who he is talking about. She then walks into the room and he tells the other person that he has to go but he will call again for updates later. He asks her how she feels. Marianna says that she is fine. She asks him who he was talking about.

Martin tells her not to worry. Marianna rolls her eyes. She tells him not to treat her like she is an idiot or a fragile egg. She says that she heard him mention someone being seriously injured and she would like to know. Martin says that there was an acquaintance, whose grandfather was involved in a serious car accident and is in hospital. Martin adds that Hernan was the one who called to tell him about it, while the boy's great-grandson went to Antonio's house to ask him to help his great grandfather.

Marianna asks Martin if he will go to the hospital. Martin says that he will. Marianna tells him that she will come. Martin looks at her like she is crazy. Marianna asks him why she can't come. Martin says that she is still recovering from her accident and anyway Alejandro is crazy. Mariana asks him if those are the only reasons. Martin asks her what other reasons there would be. Marianna glares at him but asks him if Antonio came to know that family through his cousins. Martin says it didn't quite happen that way. Marianna asked him what happened.

Elsewhere at the hospital,

Before either Santiago or Diego can say anything, they hear noises and both turn around. Santiago can't believe his eyes. He is looking at his late wife Victoria. He walks away from his son and goes towards his wife. He hugs her. She tells him that she wants him to continue living his life and not to mourn her or Diego forever. Santiago says that it pains him that their son was killed. Victoria says that he should continue living because justice is coming. Santiago asks her what she means. Victoria tells him to be patient.

She says that justice may be delayed but it will always be served. She continues and says that he needs to go back because their family needs him most now. Santiago asks her why she is saying that their family needs him most now. Victoria tells him that their family is going to grow very soon and he needs to be there. Santiago wipes away tears and hugs his wife. He then lets her go. Immediately he does, she begins to get fainter. He turns around and Diego too is getting fainter. They both grow fainter until they disappear.
