EPISODE 73

 

Back at Antonio's house, Gina tells Horacio to leave. She says that all she wants is to take care of her son. Horacio says, that he can help her do that. Gina repeats again that he should leave. Horacio says that he cannot do that because their son bonds them together. Gina tells him that he is crazy. Horacio tells her that he promised her that he would never leave her alone, and he kept that promise. Gina says that she really isn't interested in what he has to say. Horacio says that she should because he ensured her son is his. Gina looks at him wide-eyed. What is Horacio saying?

Back at Hector's house, Adrianna, tells Alejandro to stop talking because he is crazy. She adds that he should leave her and her daughter alone. Alejandro says that he loves her, and he isn't irresponsible, and cannot abandon his daughter. Adrianna has had enough, but she cannot leave the baby alone with Alejandro to go get her phone. She tries to pick up the baby, but Alejandro blocks her. Adrianna tells him to leave because he has already done what he came to do, which is to bother her as usual. Alejandro says he didn't come to bother her, but to deliver the good news. He tells her that he used connections to get her artificially inseminated. Adrianna is shocked and tells him he is crazy.

Back at Antonio's house, Horacio has just told Gina, the 'truth'. Gina says that he is crazy if he came to spin some crazy tale, about inseminating her. She says that this isn't some movie, but real life. Horacio says that it is the truth. He adds that it is theirs and their son's reality. Gina says he is lying. Horacio says that she can get an independent DNA test done to compare her son's DNA with his since she doesn't believe him. Gina is shaken. She tells herself that just when her life was getting better, she had a child with the man she loved and her father was alive, things start going wrong

Back at Hector's house, Adrianna tells Alejandro he is crazy. Alejandro says that he is crazy in love with her. He adds that Hector cannot make her as happy as he can. Adrianna says that he is lying because he cannot accept the fact that she will never love him again. Alejandro says that he isn't lying but he cannot stop her from not believing him. He tells her that she can get a DNA test done, from a place of her choice. Adrianna is really shaken. Never in her wildest nightmares could she have imagined this. Could it be true? She loved Hector so much, and now the future they were building for themselves with their daughter, was unraveling into pieces.

Elsewhere, At Isabella's house,

She says to herself, that, Horacio and Alejandro, have probably delivered the blows to Gina and Adrianna. (She is in her room). She looks at a picture of Antonio, strokes it, and says that soon he will be hers.

Meanwhile at Marianna's house,

She is equally happy. She cannot wait to break up Hector and Adrianna. She says that Hector will finally be with a real woman like her.

A little later, Anna Patricia, is outside, taking the trash. She is done and is about to go back into the tenement house when she hears someone call her name. It's one of the last people, she wants to see, Carlos Diaz. She tries to walk past him, but he blocks her. He says that he would like to talk to her. Anna Patricia says that she will not entertain his nonsense, and catches him off guard by bulldozing her way past him. Carlos is faster, and stronger than her and quickly catches up with her. He holds her arm and tells her that she should follow him up the stairs to her house unless she wants to cause a scandal.

Elsewhere, Helena is at Montes De Alba Inc. She is in her office, but her mind goes back to the discussion she had with Anna Patricia. She says that Anna Patricia, is rude, but she will put her in her place soon.

Meanwhile, Anna Patricia and Carlos are in her parent's house. She tells him that she has no interest in him, a fact she already made clear. Carlos says that he can make her happy. Anna Patricia says that she is happy and fulfilled. Carlos ignores her and says that a beautiful woman such as herself, shouldn't be alone. Anna Patricia says that she may be alone, but she isn't lonely.

Carlos says that no woman has ever rejected him and she won't be the first. Anna Patricia, says that those relationships were either through force or the women being of loose morals. Carlos says that he has tried to reason with her, but she won't listen and is very stubborn. He says that if she won't agree to be with him, she will make her son's life a living hell and he will teach the mad man a lesson if he sees them together. Anna Patricia is shocked.

Later that day, at night, Hector notices that Adrianna is quiet and sad. He asks her about it. She says she's fine. Hector says he knows her too well, and she isn't very good at hiding her feelings. Adrianna doesn't really want to talk about it but decides to tell him anyway. She says to herself that Alejandro might, come back again or tell Hector. She says she will tell him because he will find out about it soon anyway. He says she is scaring him. Adrianna tells him that Alejandro came to see her. Hector is angry. He asks her what Alejandro wanted. Adrianna folds her hands and looks down. Hector holds one of her hands and asks her if he hurt her or the baby. Adrianna, says he didn't then she stands up.

At Antonio's house, Gina is at her usual spot. She cannot stop thinking about the conversation with Horacio. Could it be true? She wipes away some tears and turns to go check on her son when she sees Antonio. She tries to walk past him, but he holds her, and she looks up at him. He then touches her face and asks her why she was crying. Gina says she has to check up on Hannibal.

Antonio says he changed the baby's diapers, and since she'd already fed him, he's asleep again. Antonio again asks her why she was crying. Gina says to herself that Horacio might, come again or call Antonio, and Antonio can be irrational so, he should hear Horacio's story from her. She says that Horacio came and talked to her. Antonio is shocked and angry. He asks her if Horacio, hurt her or the baby. Gina says he didn't.

Back at Hector's house, he walks up and stands in front of Adrianna. He asks, her again what Alejandro told, her that has her so downcast. She takes a deep breath and tells him that Alejandro told her that he pulled some strings and got some connections to inseminate her and that Gisela is his daughter. Hector, is shocked, he feels like someone, has just taken part of the light out of his life. He runs his hand, through his hair. Adrianna starts crying, and he puts his arms around her.

Back at Antonio's house, Antonio continues to ask Gina, about what Horacio told her. She finally tells him. Antonio is shell-shocked. He runs his hand through his hair. Could it be true? Antonio says that nothing has to change because he loves her. Gina wipes away some tears and says it will because Horacio will surely blab about this to his grandmother, who has never loved her, and will use this to push Isabella towards him.

Antonio says he is sure Isabella and Horacio worked together to carry out the plan because they are the two people who stand to benefit the most if the two of them broke up. Gina says maybe Alejandro and Marianna are also involved in this to break up Hector and Adrianna. Antonio says that he wouldn't be surprised. He then adds that he loves her and he will continue fighting for their relationship even against Horacio. He says that they will find a way around everything.

Back at Hector's house, he pulls away from Adrianna and says that if it is true, it will be a difficult challenge, but they will get through it. He adds that it's not the children's fault, so they will continue, treating them as before. Adrianna says she has a feeling Marianna and Alejandro are involved in this because they both stand to benefit if the two of them broke up, and that Isabella and Horacio did a similar thing to Antonio and Gina and have told them or are about to.

Hector agrees and adds that Marianna and Isabella probably worked together to drug him and Antonio, so he definitely wouldn't be surprised if they worked together this time as well. Adrianna asks him what happens if it is all true. Hector says he knows it won't be easy because Alejandro won't be reasonable, but they will work through this and become stronger. Adrianna says that they shouldn't tell anyone until the DNA tests are done. Hector asks her what about Antonio and Gina because he is sure Horacio and Isabella did something to them. Adrianna says because this is an important and sensitive matter, they should talk to them as soon as possible.

Back at Antonio's house, Antonio suggests to Gina, that they should do the DNA test in secret, then they will decide how to move on after that. Gina says it's in the children's best interest. She, however, thinks, that they should tell Hector and Adrianna because she is sure Alejandro and Marianna were up to something as well. Before she can continue, her phone rings. She tells Antonio that it is Adrianna and picks up. After greetings, Adrianna says that she'd like to talk to her the next day, and asks if she can come over. Gina says it's okay.

On Friday,

Horacio goes to Juan Patricio and Claudia's house. He gives the butler his business card and asks him to tell Claudia, that he'd like to speak to her about, Antonio.

Meanwhile, Adrianna goes to Antonio's house to meet Gina. She is curious and has to know if Horacio did the same thing Alejandro did, to her. They go to Antonio's study, and Adrianna asks Gina if she (Adrianna) can go first. Gina says it's okay. Adrianna takes a deep breath and begins.

At Montes De Alba Inc., Hector calls Antonio to ask if they can meet later, to talk. Antonio says it's fine, and they can talk over lunch.

Back at Claudia and Juan Patricio's house, she agrees to meet Horacio. She is curious. What does he want to talk to her about that concerns Antonio and Gina? They are in the garden. Horacio says that he is Gina's ex-boyfriend. He says he knows that she is a busy lady with a lot of social engagements, so he won't waste her time. He adds that he knows that she doesn't, like Gina or approve of her relationship with Antonio, and it is common knowledge. He says that he was recently alerted to a mistake, at the hospital, with Gina. He then tells her, that Gina was inseminated with his sperm, and her son is not Antonio's. Claudia is of course shocked.
