One month later, on a Tuesday,

At the hospital,

Anna Patricia has taken her father for one of his routine check-ups. They are leaving the chemist after having bought the medicine, when Anna Patricia, holds onto a wall and takes a deep breath. She then gently pats her chest. Ramon looks at her and asks her if she is fine. Anna Patricia says that she is fine. Ramon looks at his daughter like he doesn't believe her. Anna Patricia smiles and while calling him dad, assures him that she is fine. Ramon reminds her that as one grows older, it becomes easy for one to get certain illnesses. Anna Patricia says that she knows that but she isn't sick. Ramon reminds her that she isn't a doctor. He then asks her if she has been feeling well of late.

Anna Patricia says that she has been feeling a bit nauseous, sensitive to certain foods and smells and her appetite isn't stable but otherwise she is fine. Ramon looks at her alarmed. He adds that she should get checked. Anna Patricia says that normally those would be signs of pregnancy, but with her infertility, she is not pregnant. Ramon says that it's all the more reason for her to get checked. Anna Patricia says that she doesn't see the need. Ramon asks her to do it if only to keep him at peace. He says that he doesn't want to die of worry that she has or might get something dangerous. Anna Patricia frowns at her father but says that she will.

The next day,

At the hospital,

Anna Patricia has come back for the results of the tests she had done, the previous day. She asks her father if he told anyone why they came back. Ramon says that he didn't. He adds that her mother (Clara) asked him questions and he told her that some tests were rescheduled. He then asks her if she is scared. Anna Patricia says that she is okay. Ramon tells her that regardless of the outcome, they will be there for her. He reminds her that no matter what happens, and no matter how old she gets, she will always be his little princess. Anna Patricia smiles.

Meanwhile, Alejandro and Isabella are still hiding. With Horacio and Juan Patricio's deaths, a month ago, attention has been brought to their case. They have to be even more careful and continue laying low.

Sometime later,

Anna Patricia is in the doctor's office. The doctor has just arrived. She asks the doctor if there is anything wrong. The doctor says that she is fine. Anna Patricia asks what the symptoms were for. The doctor says that those were pregnancy symptoms. Anna Patricia stares at the doctor shocked. She says that it must be a mistake because she had been trying to have a second child in her twenties and thirties and after no results, she gave up. She adds that she is forty-eight and a half and she is too old. The doctor says that given her history, it is a miracle. Anna Patricia asks herself, what Gabriel would think about everything.

Some hours later,

Anna Patricia is back at the mansion. She is in Gabriel's study. She is sitting in the visitor's chair. She runs a hand through her hair. It is still sinking in. She is pregnant. That is news she wished, she would have received, some ten or so years ago. She says to herself that it is one thing for her and Gabriel to adopt a four-year-old but it is another thing to have a newborn of their own. She feels so restless, she can hardly sit still. She stands and goes to open the door, so she can leave. She finds Gabriel, standing there.

He tells her that it is almost time for dinner, then comes in and closes the door. Anna Patricia says that she was on her way to the dining room. She then asks him where Ricardo is. Gabriel says that Ricardo was with her father in the garden, asking him a thousand questions. Anna Patricia smiles. He asks her if she is fine. She says she is. He asks her if her father is fine. Anna Patricia says that the test results were good and that there is nothing to worry about. She adds to herself that he is well enough to meddle in her life. Gabriel says that she looks different.

Anna Patricia remains quiet, still in shock over learning that she is pregnant. Gabriel says that he can see that something happened. He then puts her hands into his and asks her what it is. Anna Patricia moves away from him and takes a deep breath and says that she is pregnant. Gabriel stares at her shocked. Anna Patricia says that given her history and age, it was something she didn't expect. She adds that adopting a four-year-old is one thing, but having a newborn of their own is another thing.

Elsewhere,

Hernan is in the dining room, reading a newspaper when Adrianna comes in and sits near him. He folds the newspaper. Adrianna says that she wanted them to continue discussing the issue of moving to another house. Hernan looks at her and asks her if she still wants to move to the same estate as Gabriela and Antonio. Adrianna says that she does. She adds that she loves the houses there. Adrianna pleads with him. Gisela comes walking in, clutching her teddy bear.

Hernan calls her. Gisela runs to her father's lap and he carries her. Hernan asks her if she would like to move to a new house, that is near, her aunt Gabriela and Uncle Antonio's. Gisela nods excitedly. She says that she can go and visit her cousin and play with him every day. Gisela then says that she wants to be like her aunt Gabriela. Hernan asks her why. Gisela says that her aunt is talented and clever. She then looks at Hernan and while calling him, daddy asks him if her aunt isn't clever.

Hernan remains quiet, unwilling to say, that his sister is cleverer or more talented than him. Hernan says to himself that he is better than both his sisters. Hernan looks at Adrianna who smiles. She tells Gisela that she has gone to get some juice for her. Gisela continues looking at Hernan waiting for an answer. Hernan reluctantly says that Gabriela is clever. Gisela asks Hernan when they are moving. Hernan, calling her princess, says that it will be very soon.

Back to Gabriel and Anna Patricia,

Anna Patricia hands over a glass of water to Gabriel, who is now sitting down. He takes a few sips of water, then places the glass down. Anna Patricia, asks Gabriel if he is fine. He says that he is. He adds that he was just a little shocked when she announced that she was pregnant. She asks him how he feels about it. Gabriel says that if God decided to give them a child at that age, it is a blessing, he will gladly accept.

He adds that one of her greatest wishes will be answered in a few months. Anna Patricia, says that they should tell the twins, Aranza and Martin first. Gabriel agrees. Anna Patricia stands and paces around a little. She then says that two small children will be an uphill task. Gabriel follows her and holds her hands. He then tells her that he will always be there for her and that they will get through everything together. He then kisses her and she kisses him back.

Much later,

Martin has just read Dianna a bedtime story and left her sleeping. He comes out of her room and goes to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He finds Marianna, there sitting on a stool. He goes to her side and asks her if she is fine. Marianna says that after Horacio's death, she was thinking about Isabella and Alejandro. Martin asks her if Alejandro has tried calling her. Marianna says that he hasn't.

She adds that after what Horacio did, she sometimes gets afraid that Alejandro might try something. Martin says that he is also afraid. He adds that all they can do is be more careful. He then hugs her. Marianna then tries to move away from him and they end up staring into each other's eyes. Martin leans in and kisses her. Marianna kisses him back. Martin stops long enough for them to go to their room. The room is barely closed before they fall together, stumbling onto the bed.

Two days later, on a Friday

At Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Hernan, Gabriela, Aranza, Martin, Gabriel, and Anna Patricia are having tea and snacks. Aranza, as nosey as always, looks around and asks her father what is going on. She then adds that for all of them to have been called there, something had to have happened. She then asks her father if he is sick. Hernan tells Aranza that she is nosy and she needs to be patient. He adds that she talks too much.

Aranza glares at him and says that he is bossy and annoying. Gabriela smiles. She says to herself that she is more mature than her siblings. Gabriel tells Hernan to leave his sister alone. Anna Patricia tells the twins, Aranza and Martin that they were called there for a reason. She then says that they wanted to tell them something before telling everyone else. She adds that she is pregnant. The twins, Aranza and Martin are all shocked.

Elsewhere,

At Martin's house,

Marianna is with her daughter, Dianna, and her nephew Thiago. He had come for a sleepover at her house.

Back at Antonio and Gabriela's house,

Gabriela looks at Hernan, Aranza, and Martin and then back to her father. She tells them congratulations. She adds that she would come to their side, but walking around is so hard, and she is still getting used to her crutches. Hernan says congratulations as well. He then goes over to Anna Patricia and his father, to congratulate them. Gabriel then looks at Aranza and Martin and asks them what about them.

Martin says that he needs a few days to get around to the idea but congratulates them anyway. Gabriel looks at Aranza. She goes and stands near her father. She asks him if he will still love her. Gabriel stands and tells her that even when her little brother or sister is born, she will still be his little girl. He then hugs her. Gabriela rolls her eyes and says to herself, last borns and their spoilt behavior. Hernan smiles sweetly at her and she glares at him. Martin shakes his head.

Two weeks pass during which, Hernan, Adrianna, and Gisela Paulina move into their new house. Gabriela and Hannibal continue their recovery process.

On a Wednesday

At Martin's house,

Marianna is up and about, busy arranging the sitting room when there is a knock on the door. She walks towards it and asks who it is. Renata answers that it is her. Marianna looks relieved and lets her cousin in. She greets her and then they go to the sitting room.

Meanwhile,

At Antonio's house,

Hernan has gone to visit Gabriela. Both she and Hannibal are still recovering. Hannibal is with his tutor. Antonio and Gabriela decided to get their son a tutor so that he can keep up with school as he recovers. Gabriela smiles at her brother. Hernan asks her, what she is upto. Gabriela says she isn't upto anything. She adds that she was just a little surprised at him and Adrianna moving into the same estate she lives in. Hernan shrugs.

He says that he and Adrianna had been discussing moving for some time. He adds that both Adrianna and Gisela wanted to move to that estate and he agreed to make his queens happy. Gabriela tells him that he is being dramatic, and is acting like he was forced to move there. Hernan says that he agreed reluctantly because he didn't want to live so close to her. Gabriela frowns at her brother and throws a pillow at him. She tells him that he is so annoying. Hernan says that he is still the more lovable sibling. Gabriela glares at him.

Back at Martin's house,

Marianna and Renata are in the sitting room. There is an open packet of juice, with two full glasses. Marianna takes a sip of hers and then looks at Renata. She asks Renata, what is going on. She adds that she can sense her uneasiness. Renata runs a hand through her hair. She then says that she is pregnant. Marianna is shocked for a second, then says that, is good news. Renata adds that she is scared. She adds that Thiago is twelve and a half, and she has passed that stage of babies and diapers.

Marianna moves closer to her and holds her hands. She reminds her, that they will be through the pregnancy journey together. She then tells Renata that she is a strong woman and can handle it. Renata says that she is worried about Thiago's reaction. Marianna smiles and says that he will be thrilled to be a big brother. She then asks Renata if she has told Octavio yet. Renata says that she hasn't because she needs time to gather the courage, to do it. Marianna tells her that she understands her because she was there when she found out she was pregnant.

Meanwhile at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Anna Patricia remembers a conversation, she had with Gabriel. She was excitedly talking about names for the baby and had asked Gabriel for suggestions. He had said that he was okay with whatever name she chose. He then said that he didn't have an opinion on the matter. Gabriel also told her to ask Aranza for her choice. Anna Patricia asked him why Aranza. Gabriel says that because she was involved in naming Gisela, Hannibal, and Rosa. He adds that he trusts his daughter's opinion. 

She then comes to the present and says that she will talk to Aranza.

Over the next few days, Marianna helps Renata gain the courage to tell Octavio, Thiago, and the rest of their family. As Marianna said, Thiago was thrilled to be a big brother. Octavio was thrilled to have a child and Santiago was thrilled at the new addition to the family. Life was good all-around for everyone.
