EPISODE 86

Sometime later at Clara and Ramon's house,

Gina tells everyone else about the wedding to Horacio, and Hector tells them about Adrianna's marriage to Alejandro and him possibly marrying Marianna. They are all shocked except Martin and Emma, who already knew. Clara tells them if they are sure about what they are doing.

Gina says that things are very complicated, and their only way out, isn't an option at that point. Luisa says that she understands their reasons, but asks them if they have considered that their father's recovery isn't guaranteed and could take years. Gina says that she knows the risks of their plan, but it is worth it.

 

Two days later on Monday,

Antonio is awake, and he is getting ready for work. He hears a knock on the door and goes to open, the door. It is one of the last people he wants to see - Isabella. He asks her what she wants. Isabella says that by now, he knows that Gina is getting married, so he has no more reason to hold out hope that they will ever get back together. Antonio tells her that it is none of her business.

 

Isabella ignores him and says that they could have a happy family. He holds one of her arms and tells her that no matter how much she schemes he will never love her, and if he married her, he will make sure she is miserable. Isabella is however not cowed. She reminds him that she could use that to get full custody of their son. She smiles at Antonio's shock. He then says that she doesn't even love the child. Isabella, tells him to stop destroying her good name. Antonio glares at her.

 

Sometime later, Hector is already at the office. He calls Aranza. She is always happy to hear from him. He asks her if she can come to the house because he and Gina want to talk to her later. Aranza says that she will come. He says that he loves her, and she says that she loves him too.

 

Sometime later, at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Adrianna is in what used to be Gabriel Montes De Alba's study, and which was turned into a library after his (believed) death. She is thinking about the recent events, as she looks through the shelves. It all feels like a nightmarish blur. She hears, the door open and turns to see who it is. It is the last person, she wants to see, Alejandro. She ignores him and continues perusing through some books. She picks up one and reads the title. It looks, interesting so she decides to leave with it.

 

Alejandro, however, holds one of her arms and pulls her towards him. He envelops her, in a tight hug. Adrianna tries to fight free, but he only holds her tighter. He kisses her forehead. She manages to pull away when he, removes one arm to touch her hair and face. Adrianna feels completely disgusted. She couldn't stand Alejandro. Only with Hector, did it feel right. He was the only one she wanted to be with.

 

Meanwhile at Gina and Hector's house,

Gina is in the kitchen. She serves a cup of tea and is on her way to the dining room when she hears a knock on the door. She places the cup down, then goes to open it. Horacio is standing there with a smile on his face. He enters and tries to touch her but she recoils. He hands her flowers which she places on a table, not even bothering to put them in a jar. He sits down. Gina sits as far away from him as she can and asks him why he is there.

 

He says that he loves her, and he is there to see her, and so that they can work on planning the wedding. She says that they will hire wedding planners. Horacio tells her that it is in her best interests to marry him.

Gina says that she already agreed to marry him, so he doesn't have to constantly remind her of her obligations. Horacio says that she can grow to love him. Gina ignores him and tells him to stop wasting her time because right now her main focus is her son.

 

Horacio looks at her and says that, won't be the case for long. Gina asks him what he is talking about. Horacio says that he plans to expand their family. Gina tells herself that the thought of being intimate with him or having another of his children disgusts her. She then tells Horacio that unless he has anything important to tell her, he should leave, because she had some things, to do.

 

Meanwhile back at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Alejandro says that he is excited about their wedding. Adrianna says that unless he has important things to tell her, he should leave her alone. Alejandro tells her that the wedding will happen, and she will be his forever. Adrianna tells him that she hasn't forgotten her obligations, and she just wants to get the charade of a wedding over with. Adrianna tells him that the marriage certificate is a piece of paper and it will mean nothing, as she won't love him. Before Alejandro can retort, Adrianna quickly moves past him, with the book in her hand. Alejandro is left feeling embarrassed and humiliated.

 

Meanwhile, Marianna calls Hector.

He frowns but picks up the call. He asks her what she wants. She asks him if he is still hoping that Adrianna and Alejandro won't get married. Hector tells her, to mind her own business, and leave him alone. She tells him that she won't leave him alone, because they will get married. Hector tells her that she is crazy. She adds that she is crazy about him. Hector hangs up. He runs his hand through his hair. Marianna meanwhile tells herself that he will marry her whether he likes it or not. She then looks at the baby who is peacefully sleeping and smiles.

 

Meanwhile at the university,

Aranza and Aurelio, are sitting on a bench. She tells him that Hector and Gina want to talk to her, later. He asks, her what it is about. Aranza says that she doesn't know. He says that she is happy because she is nosy. She rolls her eyes and then says that she wants to enjoy, the short time left before all hell breaks loose. He tells her that eventually all things will be settled. Aranza says that she hopes so.

 

Much later, at night.

Antonio is sitting in his car, thinking about how things all went wrong. He was so in love with Gina. He had finally won over his wildcat. He remembers, the first time, they kissed, then a couple of other times they kissed and also the first time, they made, love, in the caves in the jungle. He asks himself, how it all went downhill.

 

Meanwhile back at Hector and Gina's house,

Aranza has just arrived. She folds her arms and looks at both of them. Hector can't help but smile. He tells himself that she looks, so much like their father, when he was serious and also like Gina when she was angry at him. Gina tells her that they want to talk to her about John, the patient they have been visiting at the mental hospital. Aranza is shocked. She asks what he has to do with her. Gina says that they would like her to be visiting him as well. Aranza is surprised and asks why. Hector says her nosiness and jumpiness are good for him.

 

Both Gina and Aranza glare at Hector, and he smiles. Gina tells her to ignore Hector because he is a bully. She then says that they think it will be good for him because she has a bright, sunny, and bubbly personality. Hector adds to himself and he is their father, but she doesn't need to know it yet. Aranza says that she is curious enough to want to try it and see how it goes. Aranza then says she is going to make, some delicious fruit juices for Gina. Hector, asks her why she would make anything for her (points a finger at Gina and calls her this one).

 

Gina rolls her eyes at him and tells Aranza that Hector does that and he loves bragging about how is the mature one. Aranza smiles and says it’s because Gina just gave birth, and so she will be treated like a princess, and she deserves it because of what has been happening. Hector reminds Aranza that it's been nearly two months, since she gave birth, and anyway he too has been under stress. Gina tells Aranza that he has always been jealous of her. Hector denies everything.

 

Aranza puts her foot down and tells them to both stop arguing. She then folds her arms and puts on her serious face. Hector tells her that at that moment, she looks like her father. Aranza looks at him surprised and he says that he has looked up her father online, because he was such an important person, and died so young. Aranza tears up a bit then she moves and hugs them both. Gina glares at him and he smiles.

 

The next day on Tuesday,

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

Hector is reading, the newspaper. He had arrived early, so it was pretty empty. As he is scrolling, he reaches the society pages. His attention is caught, when he sees a picture of Adrianna and Alejandro. He reads the title. It is announcing their upcoming wedding. Hector snaps the newspaper shut.

 

Thinking of Adrianna with anyone else especially someone as vile as Alejandro pains him. Thinking about possibly marrying Marianna drives him nuts. He remembers the many kisses he shared with Adrianna and the first time that they made love in the cabin in the forest. He then comes back to the present and asks himself how everything went so wrong when they were so happy.

 

Meanwhile at Aurelio's house,

Aranza tells him about Hector and Gina wanting her to occasionally be visiting John. Aurelio is a little surprised but thinks it is a good idea. Aranza says that she is curious to see why Hector and Gina have grown so close to him. Aurelio says he feels so sorry for John for having lost so many years of his life, there. Aranza agrees.

 

Days later, on Friday,

Anna Patricia, Hector, and Gina are at a nearby park with John and the children. He is so happy to see the children. He tells them, that the children, remind him of people. The doctor asks him if he can remember any names. John says that he cannot. Hector asks the doctor if they can talk alone. John asks Gina if she can take pictures, of him, Anna Patricia, and the children. She agrees and hands her son over to John and takes out her phone. She then snaps away.

 

Meanwhile, Hector has just told the doctor about Aranza visiting John. He looks a bit alarmed at the idea. He asks if her mother will bring trouble. Hector says that Aranza is an adult, and her mother doesn't follow up on her actions, much, as long as Aranza is out of her way and out of trouble. He asks Hector if she won't mind, her daughter visiting John. He says that she won't, and even if so, if she sees that it makes the company look good, she will be behind it.
