EPISODE 81

 

Back at Hector and Gina's house,

Gina has just told Emma, what they have learnt about her father and Emma is still digesting it all. Gina adds that her father has made a lot of progress, but he cannot remember who he is. She also says that he is still fragile and all of it can be undone quickly if he is mishandled. Emma says she now understands why there is all the secrecy and why she has handled the situation carefully. Emma then adds that the whole situation as tragic as it is, is also quite romantic and like a soap opera.

Gina rolls her eyes at her. Emma says that she and her brother are, the heroes of the story, and every good telenovela has drama and complicated love stories. Gina mockingly says continue. Emma pokes her in the arm then says that she has fallen in love with the son of the person who tried to kill her father, and Hector, with the niece of the person, who tried to kill their father. Gina shakes her head and says that Emma is crazy.

The next day on Saturday,

Adrianna is awake and she goes to the kitchen, to get a glass of juice. Everything that has been going on, has been too much. She enters the kitchen and is shocked to see Alejandro there. Adrianna isn't in the mood to deal with him. After a moment as she recovers at the shock of seeing him there, she turns and leaves. Alejandro follows her and, goes in front of her. He says that she looks as beautiful as ever. Adrianna doesn't answer him.

At Hector and Gina's house,

Gina is in the sitting area, wondering how to tell her brother, that she told Emma the truth about their history when he gets out of his room, and passes by her. He was going to the kitchen but changes his mind when he sees her, and goes and sits opposite her. Gina asks him what's going on. Hector slightly frowns and tells, her that she is the one who should be answering questions.

Gina rolls her eyes and tells him to stop being so dramatic. Hector looks at her then while calling her little sister, says that he knows her so well. He adds that at that moment, she has on her guilty face because she did something that would annoy him. Gina frowns at her brother, then says that she didn't do much, she just told Emma the truth. Hector looks at her completely shocked.

Back at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Alejandro is still harassing Adrianna. She has said very little to him, but that hasn't discouraged him. He then adds that they should get married. Adrianna still doesn't give in to her urge to react. She gives up on her idea of getting some juice, and elbows past him, but he is persistent. He tells her that she should have gotten over her phase with her little servant boy because he will never leave her. He then leans in and kisses her and Adrianna pushes him away.

At Antonio's house,

He hears a knock on the door and since he is near enough to open it he does. It is Isabella. Antonio glares at her and frowns. She tells him that it is rude, to make a guest stand outside. Antonio looks at her irritated and says there are exceptions. Isabella asks him what their son will think when he is older and he finds out, how she was mistreated by him (Antonio). Antonio frowns but lets her in.

Meanwhile, back at Hector and Gina's house,

He asks her, why she told Emma. Gina, whose hands are folded, says that the burden of keeping such a secret is overwhelming, and she needed a good and trusted friend, whom she could confide in like he has Martin. Hector says he understands how hard, it is to keep such a secret for so long, but the fewer people who know their identities the better, because it decreases chances of their secret coming out, as well as reducing, the danger and repercussions from the fallout. He adds that she shouldn't have done it.

Gina says she understands but adds that they were going to tell Emma anyway and Emma can be trusted. She then adds that she doesn't see why he is blowing things out of proportion. Hector says that she doesn't understand. He adds anything to do with their identities, their father or their sister can only be decided by the two of them coming together, and not by one of them making a unilateral decision. Gina apologises and promises not to do it again. Hector accepts her apologies and asks her if she swore Emma to secrecy. Gina assures him she did.

Back at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Adrianna has had it with Alejandro. He is a crazy maniac. She tells him that, she has had it with him, and she is going to get a restraining order against him. Alejandro grabs one arm and tells her that, it would be a risky move because she would be putting the children at risk. Adrianna looks at him, full of shock and fear. He grins evilly, then looks at her, shocked. He tells her to wipe off that look on her face because he would never kill, let alone kill innocent children.

Adrianna rolls her eyes. He says that, what he will do, is to create a scandal that will scar the children for life and affect the company. He asks her how the mark of shame sounds as a nickname for the girls. Adrianna asks, him how he would do that to innocent children, and live with himself. He, calling her my dear says that he will, do all it takes to have her. She then asks him if Marianna and Isabella are a part of this. Alejandro says they all are, and adds that she better start playing nice.

Back at Antonio's house,

Antonio tells Isabella, that no matter how much, she bothers him, he cannot stand her and has no interest in rekindling anything with her. Isabella says that they were once happy and they can go back to that again. Antonio runs his hand through this hair. How did he get involved with such a crazy person? She tries to move towards him but he holds her at arm's length. Isabella asks him why he holds out hope that he will, get back together with Gina. She adds that he should accept that whatever fantasy he lived with her is over and that soon Gina will move on with Horacio. Isabella watches Antonio's reaction. He clenches one hand at the thought, of Gina with anyone else, apart from him.

At Martin's house,

Emma is awake and about, still thinking about Gina's bombshell revelations yesterday. She can't believe it. Her best friend is a lost heiress. Martin comes and, she doesn't even notice him until, he comes, and puts his arms around her. She then turns around and faces him. He kisses her forehead and asks her what she was thinking about. She says that she was thinking about what Gina told her yesterday. Martin asks her what, Gina told her. Emma says that Gina told her the truth. Martin, asks her what truth she is talking about. Emma says that Gina admitted to her that she and Hector aren't cousins but are siblings and then told her their whole story.

Martin runs his hand through his hair, he can't believe that Gina actually told her. Emma senses his uncomfortableness in discussing the subject. He asks her if she is angry he didn't tell her before. Emma says she isn't because it wasn't his place to tell her. Martin tells her that knowing the secret is a huge responsibility because someone cannot tell somebody else or discuss it carelessly in case somebody else overhears. Emma says that she understands and will be careful. She adds that she knows the risks involved, especially for the twin's father.

Back at Antonio's house,

Isabella knows that she has hit a weak spot by mentioning Gina with somebody else. Nevertheless, she continues. She adds that they can form a happy family with their son. Antonio looks at her in a way that says you are crazy. Antonio says that he has heard enough, from her and moves to kick her out. Isabella says that she knows her way out, and then tells Antonio that, she is not going anywhere, because they will be together. Once she leaves, he takes a deep breath. He says to himself that he has to talk to Gina so that they can solve their problems.

Back at the Montes De Alba mansion,

Alejandro tells Adrianna that it is about, time they make their relationship formal and let the public know. She is shocked, and horrified but keeps her cool. Alejandro says that it is time they got married, as he looks at her like a hungry lion looking at a gazelle.

Meanwhile, Gina is at the mental hospital.

With everything going on, she wanted to visit her father alone. They are in the garden sitting on a bench. He looks at her and asks her what's going on. Gina says she is fine. John looks at her and says he doesn't believe her. Gina smiles, despite everything and insists that she is fine. John says that he loves her like she was his daughter, and wants her to be happy. Gina breaks down and starts crying. John lets her lay her head on his shoulder.

At Aurelio's house,

Aranza is in the dining room, thinking about everything that has been going on. She wishes now more than ever, that her siblings and father, were alive. So much is going on. She sometimes feels overwhelmed. Aurelio comes and finds her in that manner. He asks her what's bothering her. Aranza says that she is fine. She says that she was just thinking about how unfair life is, because of all the drama, between, Hector, Adrianna, Gina, and Antonio. Aurelio says he too hopes that they can eventually solve their problems because they love each other, and they belong together.

Back at the mental hospital,

Gina has already updated John on what is going on in her life (without mentioning him or the threats on him). She then says that she is going to have to marry Horacio soon. John looks at her, appalled. He says that he has come to know her very well, and knows that she loves Antonio very much. Gina doesn't even bother to lie to him. She admits that she is in love with Antonio, but says sometimes life puts people in difficult situations that forces them to make difficult decisions.

John says that she has already told him, of the threats on her son, and how Antonio's grandparents, and Adrianna's aunt, who have the power to stop it all, won't do anything and are probably behind everything, and he understands all that, but being chained to such a despicable person as Horacio forever, is condemning herself to a lifetime of misery. Gina takes a deep breath and says that it isn't forever.

She adds that this is a temporary setback. John asks her why she is so sure that, her impending marriage to Horacio is temporary. Gina says that because she just knows it is and smiles. John looks at her suspiciously but lets it go temporarily. Gina then says that they should stop discussing her problems, and focus on, the good things, like him going on his first outside visit.

EPISODE 80

 

Back at the Montes De Alba mansion, Adrianna is taking a walk in the garden, when she sees Alejandro. She ignores him, but he clearly wants, to talk to her. Alejandro says that he is happy to see that she has moved on from Hector, because it gives him hope, that there is a chance for them. Adrianna glares at him.

She says that she won't even bother explaining, to him anything, given everything that has happened. Adrianna tries to walk away from him, but he holds her hand. He tells her that they should get married for the child's sake. Adrianna tells him that neither she nor the child need him. She then, wiggles free and goes off. Alejandro smiles after her, then tells himself that she will be his, the way it was always meant to be.

Elsewhere, Gina is at her and Hector's house,

She remembers, the first time, she and Antonio kissed. She then has a flashback of them as children. She remembers the smile on his face when he dyed her hair blue, and when she pinched him for it after. She says to herself that she wishes that she could tell him the truth and end it all but she cannot risk her father's health and safety. She adds that Helena and Carlos might try something, and she can't let that happen.

Later in the day, at Aranza and Aurelio's house,

She asks, him if he isn't curious where she was. Aurelio shrugs and says that she is nosy, so she probably went to interrogate Adrianna, over why she broke up with Hector. Aranza folds her hands and says that she isn't nosy, but she is just concerned. Aranza then comes and joins, Aurelio on the couch. She then asks Aurelio, why he didn't go to school, that day. He says he did, then he felt a bit unwell and returned.

Aranza feels his face, and he tells her he had a burnout and needed some rest. He then asks her what Adrianna told her. Aranza says she just repeated the story about Alejandro wanting to take their daughter away. Aurelio says maybe that is what happened. Aranza says she didn't believe Adrianna, because she knows her too well. She adds that she has a feeling, Adrianna and Gina are hiding things. Aurelio lets her place her head on him and puts one arm around her.

Later at night after visiting John, Gina, is at home with Emma and the baby. Emma asks Gina for how long she intends to stay away, from Antonio. Gina says that she isn't sure, and adds that, she feels overwhelmed. Emma says that what Horacio did to her was cruel and she understands her fears over his threat, to take away their son, but Antonio loves her and they can work their way around it. Gina says she knows that and she wants nothing more than to be with Antonio but things are much more complicated than that.

Emma says that they are complicated because she is stubborn. Gina says that that's not it. Emma rolls her eyes and says that she knows that Antonio's grandparents don't like her, and won't help her against Horacio, but she and Antonio can still get through it together as will Adrianna and Hector. She tells Gina that she should be more proactive in clipping Horacio and Isabella. She then asks Gina if there is a way she can deal with Horacio. Gina says that there isn't anything she can do because her hands are tied.

Emma looks at Gina like she doesn't believe her. Gina sips a glass of water then assures Emma that she is fine. Emma folds her hands, then tells Gina that she doesn't believe a word she says. Gina wants to tell Emma the truth but hesitates. She then remembers that Hector has less of a burden on that front because Martin is his best friend and he knows their secret. Gina tells herself that Emma is a nice person and the family had discussed telling her the truth.

Meanwhile, Isabella, Horacio, Marianna, and Alejandro are at Isabella's house, planning their next moves.

Back at Hector's house,

Gina takes a deep breath and says that things aren't that, simple. Emma says that while things are complicated, they seem even worse because she is stubborn and proud. Gina says that she has something to tell her, something that is her biggest secret. Emma says she is listening. Gina takes a deep breath and says that her real name is Gabriela Montes De Alba. Emma's eyes widen and then she rolls her eyes. She tells Gina, to stop joking.

Gina tells Emma that she isn't joking. Emma still not believing her says that she's supposed to have a twin brother. Gina says Hector is her brother and his real name is Hernan. Emma paces around and says that this is all too unbelievable. She adds that she just cannot believe that she (Gina) and Hector are the missing twins. Emma tells Gina that she still doesn't believe her.

Back at Isabella's house,

Marianna says that Aurelio and Aranza might cause trouble in the future. Horacio says he doesn't see how that will affect them. Marianna says that Aranza is Adrianna's cousin and has also grown very close to Hector and Gina. She adds that Aranza would obviously prefer Hector whom she has grown to see as a brother to be with Adrianna. Marianna then continues and says that she loves and respects Antonio because he filled in the big brother role after her siblings died and she would want him to be with Gina whom she has grown to see as a sister.

Isabella tells Marianna that she does have a point then asks about Aurelio. Marianna says that he is Antonio's cousin, and grew up with Gina, like family and he would want them to be together. She then adds, that equally he grew up with Hector and would prefer him with Adrianna because she is Aranza's cousin and they have all grown close. Alejandro adds that Aranza is a sneaky kid and very smart. He adds that people say she is like a teenage version of her father. He then says that Aurelio is a Diaz, and if he has any traits like the rest of his family that is trouble.

Shortly after, at Hector and Gina's house.

Gina has already told Emma the whole story from when she and her brother were abandoned in the forest, till then. Emma tells Gina that she is going to have to try harder to convince her. Gina takes Emma to her room and shows her, her jewellery box. She then picks out a piece, and opens it, and shows her, a picture of Antonio and his mother, when he was young. She says that Antonio gave it to her on her eighth birthday. Emma looks at Gina, still unable to believe who her friend actually is.

Meanwhile, Antonio is at his house,

It doesn't feel much like home, without Gina in it. It misses her presence. He is in the sitting room when the door rings. He tells himself that he hopes it isn't Isabella. He walks over and opens it. He frowns when he sees it is his grandmother. He nevertheless lets her in.

Back at Isabella's house,

She agrees that they should keep an eye on both Aurelio and Aranza. She then asks for progress on their plans. Horacio says that Claudia is very keen to help them threaten Gina using John, to get her to marry him. Alejandro adds that he is also willing to help them threaten Adrianna as well, all as long as his name is kept out of it.

Isabella says they will. She then adds that it is only smart to keep a backup copy of any evidence so that if Claudia was ever to betray them, they could reveal the truth to Antonio. Everyone agrees that it is the best thing to do. Marianna then asks them if they don't find it weird that Gina loves the mad man enough to give up Antonio. Horacio says that it doesn't matter, as long as it plays into their hands.

Back at Hector's house,

Emma tells Gina that she understands, why she and her brother kept away for so long, after what happened to them and their father. She then asks Gina why they haven't revealed themselves since they arrived in the city. Gina says that they wanted to take back what was rightfully theirs, but they didn't want to run it down either, so they wanted to have some knowledge of how it operates.

Gina continues and says that the plan was to learn for three to five years, then reveal themselves, and eventually run it with Aranza, Antonio, and Adrianna. When Gina stops, Emma says that things became complicated when love came into the picture. Gina nods. Emma says she understands but says that if they (Hector and Gina) were to reveal who they were, they could end all the drama and regain their identities.

Back at Antonio's house,

Antonio is sitting in the dining room, opposite his grandmother, throwing dagger eyes at her. He asks her what she wants. Claudia says that she has come to speak to him in peace. Antonio frowns and asks if that is even possible. He then asks her what trouble she has come to cause this time. Claudia says that she has come to talk about his future. Antonio frowns but he doesn't answer her back or react. Claudia continues and says now that he has broken up with Gina, he should get back with Isabella and form a family with their son. Antonio frowns and says that he loves Gina and that even if she wasn't in the picture, he would never get back together with Isabella.

Back at Hector's house,

Gina insists that she and Hector cannot reveal themselves. Emma asks her why. Gina takes a deep breath and says that there's more. Emma tells Gina not to keep her in suspense. Gina says that her father is alive. Emma is shocked and holds her chest. She asks Gina how her father survived such a tragic and ruthless attempt on his life. Gina says it is because of God and because her father is superman.

Back at Antonio's house,

He tells his grandmother, that he is getting tired of her meddling and trying to control his life. He says that the way things are going, he is going to cut her off. Claudia seems genuinely shocked. She says that Gina is a bad influence on him, and is turning him against her. Antonio says that she needs to get new hobbies and leave him alone. He says that she is an idle old woman and she needs to get a life. Claudia is genuinely hurt by his comments. Antonio makes no attempt to apologize to his grandmother.

EPISODE 79

 

Meanwhile, Gina and Horacio are in his car. He says that he has tried to make her see sense, but she won't, so he is there to get his son. Gina can't believe what she is hearing. She was so happy with Antonio, and their child, her father was alive, and then this. Out loud, she says that her having his child has no effect on her life. She says because she has no other choice, she will reach some kind of deal with him, and have the child have contact with him. Gina adds that she wants nothing to do with him, and everything will be done formally in front of lawyers.

Horacio says that she clearly doesn't understand how things will work. He says that he doesn't want his son growing up around Antonio. He adds that Gina must choose between her son and Antonio. He reminds her that if she chooses Antonio, he will take away her son and ensure that she never sees him. Gina looks at him disgusted and asks him what he wants. Horacio says that he wants them to be a couple and raise their son together. Gina tells herself that she won't cry in front of him.

Meanwhile, back at Hector's house,

Helena reminds Adrianna that if Alejandro wants to take away their daughter, she (Adrianna) is on her own. Adrianna says that she didn't expect much help from her, so she isn't shocked. Helena tells Adrianna that she should, wake up from her bubble, and come back to the real world. She adds that Hector is a nobody who isn't on the same level as her. Adrianna says that whether she stays with Hector or not, she will not go back to Alejandro.

She adds that she can take care of the child alone. Helena says that she should leave Hector to build a life with Marianna and his daughter. Adrianna rolls her eyes at her aunt. She adds that what she decides, is her business, and then tells Helena to keep off. Helena tells Adrianna that when her (Adrianna's) father died, she was left in her care. Helena says that all she wants is to see her happy. Adrianna tells Helena that if her idea of happiness, is being with a psychopath like Alejandro she would rather be miserable. Helena tells Adrianna to stop being dramatic.

Back in Horacio's car,

He reminds Gina that Antonio's grandparents don't like her, and will likely help him take away her son. Gina doesn't respond and just quietly looks infront. Horacio tells her that they know which hospital, the mad man is in. On hearing this, Gina asks Horacio what he is talking about. He says that it would be easy for them to get access to her mad friend, and make sure he stays that way.

Gina glares at Horacio and asks him what an innocent man has to do with their problems. Horacio says that she has to toe the line unless she wants other people to suffer. He then adds that one of the things she will stop doing when they are married is visiting that sick old man. Gina tells herself that he can use his influence and power to arm-twist her but he will never separate her from her brother, father, or son.

Sometime later,

Martin and Hector, are at a secluded part of the office garden. Hector tells him what happened with Adrianna. Martin asks her if she thinks Alejandro threatened her over the child. Hector says that he doesn't know what to believe or think. He adds that their lives just keep on getting more complicated and worse.

Later that night, at Antonio's house,

Once her son sleeps, Gina goes to the kitchen to get a glass of juice. She then remembers Horacio's words, from earlier in the day. She remembers his threats to take away her son and harm her father. Antonio comes from his study to find her in the kitchen lost deep in her thoughts. He asks her if she is okay. Gina is tired because of everything that has been happening. She tells Antonio that they need to talk.

Back at Hector's house,

Hector is trying to convince Adrianna that they need to stay together, but she is adamant that they should take a break. He asks her if Alejandro threatened her. Adrianna doesn't answer him and tries to walk away from him. He holds up, her face and kisses her. Adrianna finds herself, responding and kissing him back. She just can't help it, she loved him too much. Hector wants to take it further, and Adrianna senses that, so she reluctantly pulls away from him. She says that she has already made up her mind, and her decision is final.

Back at Antonio's house,

Gina takes a deep breath. She would rather be anywhere else, but there saying those words. She tells Antonio that they need a break. Immediately she says those words, she cannot look up at him. Gina moves away from Antonio. This is turning out to be harder than she thought. Antonio follows her and holds her arm with one hand, and with the other holds up her face to face him. He asks her if Horacio threatened her. Gina says that it's the best decision for everyone. Antonio asks her in whose interests them breaking up is.

Gina says it was bound to happen eventually and that it was nice while it lasted. Antonio strokes her face with one finger and says that they both know that what they have is real. Gina breaks away from him and says that after all that has happened, they need a break. In an instant, Antonio is at her side, and he holds her face up, so she can face him. He asks her, why she won't trust him and tell him what's, wrong. Gina says that she's fine and that she doesn't think that their relationship would work.

Antonio says that he knows that Isabella would always be a problem and that his grandparents don't like her and will probably work with Horacio to try and take away her son but they can work around that. Gina asks him what they can do when his grandparents are powerful and won't help them. Gina then runs off to the study. Antonio looks at her but doesn't try to go after her. For the first time in years, Antonio feels like crying. He wipes loose tears from his eyes.

Over the next few days, Adrianna moves out of Hector's house, and back into the Montes De Alba mansion, Gina moves in back to her old house with Hector, Isabella finally gets to saving Hector's daughter and the DNA tests are carried out on the children.

It is a Friday, one week later, in the morning.

Adrianna hears a knock on the door and asks who it is. Aranza says that it is her. Adrianna rolls her eyes and tells herself that the interrogator is there and that she has to answer questions, she is not sure, she is ready to answer. She tells Aranza to come in.

Meanwhile, Isabella calls Antonio. He frowns, then picks it up. She asks him if he misses her already now that his silly village girl has already left him. Antonio tells her to get to the point because he isn't in the mood to tolerate her nonsense. She says that he is quite snappy since the townie left him. She says that Gina leaving is a sign that they belong together and that they should be a family with their son. Antonio tells her that he has no interest in rekindling anything with her because she disgusts him as a person. Isabella says that they once had something, and they can rekindle that. Antonio says that the only connection they have is their son, and he intends to keep it that way.

Back in Adrianna's room,

Aranza sits on her cousin's bed and stares at her. Adrianna smiles at her and asks her, what she wants. Aranza says she wants to know what's going on. Adrianna says that nothing is going on. Aranza gives her an, I don't believe you look. She then says that something must be wrong if she broke up with Hector, and she still loves him. Adrianna looks down for a second before facing Aranza again.

She folds her hands again and asks Aranza if Hector sent her. Aranza says he didn't. Adrianna looks at her but relaxes a little. Aranza says that she is still waiting. Adrianna assures her, that she just needs some time, given everything that has been happening, and with Alejandro threatening to take away her daughter. Aranza asks her if Alejandro threatened her with their daughter. Adrianna says he hasn't. Aranza asks her why she is defending him after everything he did. Adrianna assures her that she isn't.

Back with Antonio and Isabella, He tells her to stop bothering him. He adds that he will always love Gina and that will never change. He then hangs up on her. Isabella tells herself that he will eventually be hers. Antonio meanwhile runs his hands through his hair. He misses his stubborn wildcat already. He remembers their first kiss when he was taking her home from the hospital after they took the child he hit. He asks himself how things became that bad.

Hector meanwhile, isn't feeling much better either. He misses Adrianna. He had worked so hard to get her out of her shell, so she could open up to him, and trust him. He remembers their first kiss in the kitchen of that house, months ago. He then leaves his room and goes to the kitchen. On his way, he runs into his sister. He ignores her and continues on. Gina is confused. What did she do? Why is her brother angry at her? She frowns, then turns and follows him.

Back with Adrianna and Aranza,

Adrianna holds her cousin's hands and assures her that she is fine. Aranza doesn't believe her but decides to let it go for the moment. She tells herself that she will eventually get to the truth.

Back at Hector and Gina's house,

She stares at her brother and asks him what she did to get him to be so, irritated with her. Hector, looks at her and says that he doesn't, get why she and Adrianna, are so stubborn and set in their ways, and why they insist on not saying what's really going on. Gina shrugs and frowns at him. She tells him not to be so judgemental and that things have been difficult lately. He frowns at his sister. He sarcastically says that, he can see, that she and Adrianna are the only ones with problems. He then says that he doesn't feel like talking to her at the moment and leaves. Gina sighs and asks herself when it will all end.

Meanwhile, John is excited, because soon, he will be able to leave the hospital, even if it's supervised and once a week. It will be the first time in more than eighteen years, he has left the mental hospital.

Meanwhile, Carlos calls Anna Patricia using a burner phone. She doesn't know it's him, so she picks it up. Once she knows it's him, she hangs up. He tells himself that he always gets what he wants and no mad man, will beat him.

EPISODE 78

 

Later that night, at Antonio's house,

He finds Gina wiping away tears, at the balcony. Antonio approaches her. She stands up, and, says that she has to go and check up on the baby. Antonio says that he already did and he is sleeping. She says that she'll go to the room. Antonio says that they need to talk. He strokes one side of her wet face and asks her what happened that day.

Meanwhile at Hector's house,

Hector says that they need to continue talking about, Alejandro's threat to take away the baby. Adrianna says that there isn't much they can do, because she is sure that Alejandro can count on the support of Helena, Carlos, and probably even Juan Patricio and Claudia. Hector says to himself that the only way to avoid this would put, their father in danger because he is still recovering.

Back at Antonio's house,

Gina has just told Antonio about Horacio's threats and he is angry. Gina says that they can't count on his grandparents for support because they could even be behind this. Antonio knows that she is right. What can they do? He loves Gina so much, and the thought of losing her hurts him. She lays her head on his shoulder.

On Wednesday,

Hector leaves early and Adrianna is alone. She hears a knock on the door and goes to open it, thinking that Hector forgot something. To her shock it is Isabella. Without waiting to be welcomed, Isabella gets in. Adrianna takes a deep breath and closes the door. She knows that the conversation she is about to have with Isabella won't be pleasant.

Meanwhile, at Antonio's house,

There is a knock on the door. The house help opens it. A man in a suit is standing there. He says that he would like to see the lady of the house, Miss Gina Ortiz. He adds that he is a lawyer, and he was sent to talk about important legal matters with her. He then shows her his card. She looks it over, then agrees to let him in. She adds that she will go and get Gina. He thanks her and gets in.

Back at Hector's house,

Adrianna tells Isabella to get to the point. Isabella stares back with pure malice. She adds that she will be the one, calling the shots and tells Adrianna to not feel too high and mighty. Adrianna rolls her eyes and tells Isabella to get to the point because they don't like each other and she is wasting her time. Isabella ignores her and says that she is sure that she (Adrianna) like everyone else has heard that she (Isabella) is the only person who can save Marianna's daughter. Isabella then adds that she came to negotiate. Adrianna tells herself that she doesn't like the sound of that, then asks Isabella, what she means.

Back at Antonio's house,

Gina is in the living room with the lawyer. She folds her arms and asks him the real reason he came. He says that he is Horacio's lawyer and that Horacio sent him to discuss their son's custody. Gina stares at the lawyer, her face full of alarm. She asks him what he is talking about and what he means when he says that Horacio wants to discuss her child's custody.

The lawyer answers her and says that Horacio sent him because he wants to get full custody of their child since she isn't a good mother. Gina is shocked. Horacio wants to take away her son. She asks him on what grounds Horacio is filing those claims. The lawyer replies, that Horacio is arguing that she wants to keep his son away from him and that he doesn't trust that growing up with Antonio is good for him. Gina is shocked. The nerve Horacio has, after what he did to her!

Back at Hector's house,

Isabella says, that she will help the baby, but it will cost something. Adrianna says that she isn't shocked. Isabella glares at her then says that she will help the baby on the condition that she (Adrianna) breaks up with Hector. Adrianna is shocked. Even for Isabella, this is low. She asks Isabella how she can play around with an innocent child's life. Isabella shrugs and says that she won't be doing a thing because it is her (Adrianna) who decides whether the child lives or dies. Adrianna wants to cry but tells herself that she won't cry, in front of the snake.

She says that it's a pity that such a beautiful and innocent child is surrounded by such vicious and heartless people, and has a cruel heartless mother. Isabella tells her to stop being melodramatic and asks her what her decision will be. Adrianna asks Isabella how she can play around with Diana's life and Marianna is her friend. She then seems to think about it and says that maybe it is all part of a plan they came up with. Isabella ignores her and says that they could keep on talking and talking but the child's life is at risk, and time is passing. Adrianna says what can be expected when the two of them got pregnant, to use the children as pawns.

Back at the hospital, Marianna is at the ward with the baby. She looks at the child and remembers her conversation with Isabella about, using the child to break up Hector and Adrianna. She says to herself, that it's not personal while looking at the baby.

Back at Antonio's house,

Gina says that she wants nothing from Horacio, after everything he did to her. The lawyer adds that Horacio does not believe the environment she is providing for their son is the best for him. Gina defensively says that she is perfectly capable of raising her son, and she does not need Horacio. She adds that he can tell Horacio that she isn't interested in any kind of negotiations or contact with him.

Back at Hector's house,

Isabella stands up and goes near Adrianna. She tells her to listen because she won't waste her whole day, sweet-talking her. She states to Adrianna what will happen. Isabella makes it clear that if Adrianna doesn't break up with Hector, she will have a dead child on her conscience. She continues her threats and says that their meeting should remain a secret.

Isabella also adds that a lawyer will come because Alejandro is to discuss their daughter's custody with her. Isabella continues and adds that Adrianna can use the custody issue or whatever else she wants as a cover, just as long as the deal remains secret. Adrianna cannot believe what just happened. She had everything. She was happy with Hector and their daughter and then their world comes crashing down.

Later that day,

Martin and Emma, are the children's playground at the hospital. Emma tells Martin that there's something, she needs to ask him. He asks her what it is. She continues and asks him what happened when he went off with Marianna, the other day. Martin replies and says that nothing happened. He adds that he knew Marianna was crazy and would cause a scuffle. Emma looks at him suspiciously. He puts, one hand on her cheek. He adds that he didn't want Marianna insulting his grandmother. Emma says that she doesn't mean to be so insecure but she sometimes feels like he is attracted to Marianna. Martin assures her that he isn't.

Later that night,

Adrianna, sits quietly, remembering Isabella's threats. Hector notices this and asks her about it. She doesn't answer him but instead wakes up to go to the bedroom. Hector, however, goes in front of her. He holds up her face so that she looks up at him. He again asks her what's wrong. She says that she thinks that they should break up. He looks up at her, shocked. She creates distance between them. He says that he knows that what happened with Alejandro and Marianna created complications for them but they can work through it.

Adrianna says that what they had was nice while it lasted, but they have to wake up because they can't ignore the realities surrounding them. She insists that what is best for everyone is if they break up. Hector asks her, in whose interests it is. He then asks her if Alejandro threatened her. Adrianna doesn't say anything. Hector asks her not to leave him when he needs her most. Adrianna says that she has been thinking about it since they found out about the children. Hector tries to touch her face but Adrianna recoils. She adds that she should move out as soon as possible. Hector tries to get her to reconsider but she is adamant, that they should break up.

Meanwhile later at Antonio's house,

Gina is still awake. Antonio is blissfully sleeping. She watches him then thinks about, the visit from Horacio's lawyer. She says to herself that she is at a crossroads because there are only two ways she can avoid Horacio taking away her son, one involves revealing who she and her brother are, which would put her father's life in danger and the other involves giving up Antonio. She kisses him then turns to the other side as tears start to flow.

The next day, on Thursday,

At Montes De Alba Inc.,

Hector, is back to work. He doesn't really feel like himself or like being there. He still remembers the fact that Adrianna wants to break up with him and that his daughter is still critically ill. How could his life get any worse?

Meanwhile, Adrianna is still at the house, when she hears a knock on the door. She says to herself that she hopes it isn't Isabella. She opens the door and it is her aunt, Helena. Adrianna doesn't greet her but stands aside to let her in.

At Antonio's house,

Gina is returning to the house, after walking around. Spending most of the time since her son was born in the house, was driving her crazy. She was walking down a deserted hallway back towards Antonio's house, when she hears, someone behind her. Curiously she turns. It is one of the last people she wants to see, Horacio. Gina asks him what he wants. Horacio says that they need to talk about their son. Gina rolls her eyes and tries to walk past him. He, however, grabs her hand and says that they have to talk in private unless she'd rather cause a scandal.

Back at Hector's house,

Adrianna looks at her aunt straight in the eye and asks her why she is there. Helena says that they need to talk about her daughter. Adrianna says that her daughter is none of her business. Helena, says that she is because they are family. Adrianna looks at her aunt with disgust and tells her to get to the point. Helena says that she has heard about her daughter being Alejandro's child and not Hector's. Adrianna says she is sure that, Alejandro, was only too glad, to go around opening his mouth.

Helena says that, given what has happened, she should break up with Hector, and marry Alejandro. Adrianna looks at her aunt like she is crazy. She says that she will never marry him, after what he did to her. Helena continues and says that she should let Hector and Marianna take care of their daughter together. Adrianna says that breaking up with Hector is one thing but marrying Alejandro is another thing and is completely out of the question.

EPISODE 77

 

Back at Horacio's office, Claudia says that he should consider, threatening Gina with taking away their son, if she won't leave Antonio. Horacio manages to put an award-winning performance and looks shocked at the idea. He asks Claudia if that isn't going a bit too far. She shrugs and says that maybe it is but they have to ensure Gina and Antonio break up and avoid a scandal.

Sometime later, Hector calls Gina. He tells her that Isabella was a match with his daughter. She asks him, how he feels about it. He says he doesn't like the fact that his daughter's life depends on that snake. Gina agrees. She says that Isabella isn't a good person, and doesn't do things out of the goodness of her heart or for free.

Meanwhile, Marianna tells Isabella, who is thrilled. Marianna tells Isabella that she should come so that they can save the child's life. Isabella asks her if she has become soft and is developing maternal feelings towards Adrianna's daughter. Marianna tells Isabella to stop being ridiculous. She says that it’s one thing to do everything else, but it’s another, to let the child die. She adds that would be going too far for her. Isabella tells Marianna to come down. She says that they will save the child's life, but they will also benefit from it.

Back at Horacio's office,

Horacio tells Claudia that he will do it. She adds that they should waste no time and that he should do it as soon as possible. Claudia tells him that he should think of a backup as well. Horacio says he will have a backup within the week.

Sometime later, Gina arrives at the hospital. When he sees, his sister, Hector is annoyed at her for a little while then hugs her.

Meanwhile, Adrianna has also arrived at the hospital. She gets out of the car and turns to go into the hospital when she sees Alejandro. She ignores him, and, walks past him. He, however, walks up to her and holds her hand. She looks up to him with disgust and tells him to leave her alone. She says she wants to see how Marianna's baby is doing. He says that she is such a nice person to care about the well-being of her rival's baby.

He adds, that they would raise their daughter so well together. Adrianna ignores him and tries to walk away but yet again he blocks her. Adrianna has had it. She tells him that she will never love him again, regardless of what the DNA test says. Alejandro says that he has tried to be patient and understanding while she lives out her whim, with Hector but she has driven him to his limits.

Meanwhile, Hector and Gina are at a secluded section of the cafeteria. Hector has his hands folded and tells his sister to start talking because he wants to know how much she told their father. Gina tells him, to stop being so melodramatic. She assures him she didn't say who they were. She says that she only told, him about his (Hector's) daughter, and their situation with the children. Gina says she needed to talk about it, or she would go crazy.

Hector says just like when they were children, she was still a tattle tale unable to keep a secret from their father. Gina glares at her brother then says this isn't the time for his jealous childish tantrums. Hector ignores her and says that he is being serious because the next thing that could happen, is that she will blab out their secret. Gina stares at her brother and tells, him that she would never do that and adds that he should have more faith in her.

Back at the hospital's car basement, Adrianna tells Alejandro that, she is sick and tired of him. He stares back at her unfazed and asks her if she is willing to give up her daughter to be with Hector. For the first time in a long time, Adrianna looks at Alejandro with fear. She asks him what he is talking about. Alejandro says he meant just that. He says that he will never allow Hector to raise his daughter. He adds that if she wants to be with her village boy she must give up her daughter. He seizes her moment of shock and kisses her on the forehead. He adds that he will keep in touch and leaves. Some lone tears start to fall from Adrianna's face.

Back at the hospital, Hector and Gina are inside the infants' ward. Hector wipes away his tears and says that he cannot let his daughter die. Gina puts an arm around her brother and says that they should talk to Isabella to save the child. Hector says that he just hopes that Marianna and Isabella don't use this to score points.

Meanwhile, Isabella calls Claudia and tells her what Marianna told her. Claudia asks Isabella where she is. Isabella says that she's in the house, but will leave to go to the hospital quite soon. Claudia tells her to stay put because she is on her way. Isabella agrees. She is curious as to what Claudia is up to.

Meanwhile, Gina calls Antonio to update him, as Hector calls Martin. Adrianna meanwhile, arrives at the waiting area. Anna Patricia arrives sometime later, to represent the rest of the family. She follows Gina so that she can update her.

Sometime after that Claudia arrives at Isabella's house. Isabella tells her about Marianna's updates from the doctor. Claudia says that they can kill two birds with one stone and deliver a double blow. Isabella is genuinely confused and asks Claudia what she is talking about. Claudia tells her to be patient because she is about to tell her.

Back at the hospital, Hector can sense that something is wrong with Adrianna. He has asked her before but she says she's fine which he knows is a lie. He is with her at the infants' ward. They look at the baby. Hector again asks her if she is okay. She doesn't look at him but instead looks at the baby. The child is beautiful. She cannot explain why, but there is something, she feels when she sees her.

Hector, removes his hands from his pockets and holds Adrianna's face so that she can face him. Again he asks her if she is fine. She wiggles out from his embrace and says that there isn't the right place or time. He asks her if Alejandro was there. Her reaction to his question tells it all. Alejandro was there.

Back at Isabella's house, she pretends to be shocked. She says to herself that the more Claudia digs herself in, the less likely she will be to tell Antonio the truth. Isabella says that they need to discuss things quickly and Claudia agrees.

Meanwhile, Adrianna is with Hector at the cafeteria, when Aranza calls her because she wants updates. She says she'd call Hector, but she doesn't want to bother him by asking him questions because he is stressed enough. Adrianna tells her that the baby's condition hasn't improved and that the doctor added that Isabella was the only one who could donate to save her. Aranza says that she is no baby and that she can sense that something is up with her (Adrianna). Adrianna says that she's fine. She adds that she was just thinking about the possibility that Isabella and Marianna might use the baby's illness for their own plans.

Aranza is shocked at the possibility. She asks Adrianna if she thinks that Marianna would joke around with her daughter's life. Adrianna says she's not sure, but Marianna is Isabella's best friend and not very intelligent. Aranza says they will talk later because she is on her way to an exam room. Adrianna frowns and tells her that she will question her later. Hector asks her what Aranza was up to that has her annoyed at her.

Adrianna says that she doesn't mind if Aranza wants to check on his daughter but she called on her way to an exam.

Adrianna says that she should be focusing on the exam. Hector smiles. He says to himself that Aranza is just like him, and those were the kinds of stunts he pulled while still in campus. Adrianna folds her hands and glares at him. She asks him if he finds it funny. Hector shrugs and says that he was never a stressed-out student. He adds that he studied in advance and never crammed the morning before, and he turned out very well. Hector then reminds her that she hasn't told him yet what Alejandro, told her.

Meanwhile, back at the mental hospital, John remembers what Gina told him yesterday. He says that if he ever leaves the hospital, he would do all he could to help them.

Meanwhile, Adrianna has just told Hector what Alejandro told her. He gets angry at Alejandro.

Sometime later, Isabella arrives and leaves with Marianna, so they can talk on the side. Also, Horacio arrives. Gina had gone, to get something. When she turns to go back into the hospital, she runs into Horacio. He says that she looks as beautiful as ever. Gina ignores him and tries to move past him, but he blocks her. Horacio says that they need to talk. Gina says that they have nothing to say to each other. She adds that as soon as the DNA test is done, and they have concrete proof, their separate lives will go on, and that any communication will be formal and through the phone because she cannot stand seeing him. Horacio says that things won't be quite that easy.

Meanwhile, Marianna and Isabella are in the children's playground at the hospital. Marianna tells Isabella that she should get the donation, over and done with. Isabella says she will, but that it wouldn't only depend on her. Marianna asks her what she is talking about. Isabella says that they have the opportunity to get Adrianna out of the way. Isabella says that the plan is to threaten Adrianna that she won't save the child if she doesn't leave Hector. Marianna is very shocked. She says that she may not be a saint, but playing around with the life of a child is too much. Isabella tells her not to be melodramatic.

She says that the child won't die because Adrianna is a good kindhearted person and she won't let that happen. Marianna asks Isabella how that benefits her. Isabella says that if Alejandro and Horacio put pressure on Adrianna and Gina about the children, and she puts pressure on Adrianna with saving the baby, they will all get what they want. Isabella adds that Horacio will additionally threaten Gina with hurting the mad man, to get her to comply. Before Marianna can reply, Isabella's phone rings. It is Antonio. She smiles and then picks it up.

Meanwhile, Gina asks Horacio what he means. He says that if she wants to remain with Antonio, she will have to give up their son. Gina is shocked. Horacio tries to touch her but she recoils. She says that he doesn't even respect the sanctity of human life, by bringing a child into the world for the wrong reasons. Horacio tells her to stop being so melodramatic. He says that he will never let Antonio have her.

Meanwhile, Isabella asks Antonio if he misses her yet. He tells her to stop her nonsense and asks her if she is at the hospital. Isabella says she is. Antonio asks her if she will save the baby's life. She says that she will. Isabella adds that she isn't as evil as he thinks.

Later, Antonio, Aranza, Aurelio, Emma, and Martin arrive at the hospital. Antonio can tell something happened to Gina, but he is afraid to ask her because of how secretive she can be.

EPISODE 76

 Sometime later, Marianna has already updated Isabella, Alejandro, and Horacio about 'her' daughter's illness. Isabella is to go to the hospital that day to see them.

Elsewhere, Aranza calls Aurelio. They are both at the university. She says that even though they can't stand Marianna, they should go and give Hector moral support. He agrees and says that they should leave, together after their last classes.

Back at the hospital,

Anna Patricia has arrived. She is comforting Hector, as Marianna sits down quietly. Just then, the doctor comes out. They all go to him and ask him how the child is. He looks at them with a serious face, pauses, and then tells them that the child's bone marrow has developed complications and cannot function adequately and she needs a transplant, from a compatible donor as soon as possible. Anna Patricia, Hector, and Marianna are equally shocked. The doctor adds that they have to do the operation as soon as possible to avoid further complications from developing.

Marianna says (to herself) that it's not like she loves the child, but she doesn't want her to die either, otherwise, that might ruin their plans and keep Hector and Adrianna together. Just then, Gina calls Hector. He checks his phone and sees that it is her. He then excuses himself and moves elsewhere to answer the call. Gina says that she feels guilty, about going to visit their father when his daughter is sick. He says that he understands her wanting to support him but he still thinks that she shouldn't come. He adds that enough people will be there.

He reminds her how excited she was about returning to visit their father. Gina says she knows but adds that they are twins and that they have always been there for each other to share both the good and bad times. Hector says that he understands, that she wants to be there for him and appreciates that, but reminds her that their father is also sick and needs attention. Gina stubbornly insists but Hector stands his ground. He then tells her that he has a sick child and asks her not to stress him more than he is already. Gina sighs and says it's fine. He says he loves her and she says she does too.

Meanwhile, Isabella has arrived. She leaves with Marianna, after barely acknowledging Anna Patricia's presence (Hector is still on phone with Gina). Anna Patricia shakes her head and says (to herself) that both Isabella and Marianna are such unbearable people. Just then Luisa calls her to ask her how the baby is. Anna Patricia updates her. She is of course saddened. She says she will update everyone else.

Meanwhile, Antonio calls Gina. He asks her if she will go to the hospital, to check up on her niece. Gina says that she won't. She says that she will stick to the original plan, and visit John alone since it was the first time in a little over a month, she was visiting him. Antonio, as always is bothered but decides to let it go.

Back at the hospital, Isabella and Marianna, are in a deserted hallway. Isabella, asks Marianna, what the doctor has told her. She tells her and then says that they are going to do a bunch of tests, and find a possible donor. She then adds they will probably start with them because they are already there. Isabella says that's fine because the child has to survive or their plans will be ruined.

Much later on, Gina goes to visit her father. He has already finished his work for the day and is in his room. He can see she is sad, and asks, her about it. She says she is fine. He gives her a look that says he doesn't believe her. Gina remembers when she and her brother were four years, and she broke something. Her father asked her who broke the flask, and she said her brother did. He didn't believe her and gave her a similar look. She smiles at the happy childhood memories (she did get punished though).

He takes her soft hands and places them into his larger rougher hands. He says that he has come to know and love both her and Hector like they were, his children. He says he could also tell Hector is also going through something, but he is just as stubborn as her and he wouldn't say anything either. Gina feels mentally weak. It has been so many years of lying, of hiding who she and her brother are, and of not being able to mourn their father openly, and now here he was, infront of her. To top it all off, the drama surrounding the children, and her niece being sick. It was all just too much. She breaks down and the tears start to flow.

Back at the hospital, Aranza, Aurelio, Adrianna, Martin, Emma, Ramon, Clara, Armando, and Luisa are already there. Hector is with Luisa, in the baby's room. It pained Hector to see his daughter, there with all the tubes in her face, fighting for her life. She is so young and so innocent. Luisa puts an arm around him, and he lays his head on her arm.

Back at the mental hospital, John hands Gina some tissue and does his best to comfort her. She wipes away the tears and apologizes for breaking down. John says that it is not a problem. He adds that he considers her a daughter and he just wants to see her happy. Gina says that a lot is happening, but she and Hector don't want to burden him, with their problems. John looks at her and says that it won't be a problem. Gina takes a deep breath and says that she will start.

Sometime later, back at the hospital, Marianna goes back to where everyone is. She folds her arms and glares at Adrianna. She walks to her and says that she (Adrianna) isn't supposed to be there. Adrianna says that it isn't the place or time for such petty arguments. She adds that her (Marianna's) daughter is sick and her health is what's important at that moment. Clara tells Marianna to stop trying to cause trouble and focus on her sick child. Marianna turns and faces her. She says that she knows her responsibilities, to her daughter and won't forget them.

She adds that it however doesn't mean she has to agree with that woman (Adrianna) being there. Adrianna rolls her eyes at her. Martin knows Marianna will cause trouble, despite the graveness of the situation at hand. He walks over to Marianna and tells her to follow him. Marianna stares at him like she is about to argue, but decides against it. She knows Martin can carry her out of the hospital. She stares at him irritatedly but follows. Isabella tries to block them. Martin pushes her aside and ignores her. Everyone else is, of course, left a little surprised.

Back at the mental hospital, John is, of course, shocked. Gina says that she knows Horacio well and has gotten to know a bit about, Alejandro and she knows that they won't be reasonable and will purposefully make everyone's lives a living hell. She adds that Isabella and Marianna aren't any more reasonable than them. John says that she and her cousin will get through this because they are strong and they have each other and the rest of their family. He then hugs her. John says that he wants to find out how Hector's daughter is doing. Gina sighs. She says to herself that her brother won't be happy if he found out that she told their father part of what's going on.

Back at the hospital. Marianna folds her, hands and, stares at Martin. She asks him why he pulled her aside. She asks him if he is bored of his boring girlfriend and has come looking for her. Martin stares at her and says that he doesn't use trash. Marianna glares at him and tries to leave but he holds her hands and tells her to stop her tantrums. Marianna asks, him what he wants. He says that he wants her to stop trying to pick fights with Adrianna, especially when her daughter is sick. He adds that this isn't the place or the time.

Meanwhile, Gina calls Hector, because John wants to talk to him. Hector sees his sister's call and asks himself what his crazy sister has done. He says that Gina is calling him and leaves to answer her.

Meanwhile, Emma recalls back to the time she saw pictures of Martin kissing Marianna, several months ago. She asks herself if anything else has happened since. She asks herself if Martin and Marianna, are attracted to each other.

Back with Martin, and Marianna, Marianna tells Martin to stop being a bossy pain and to mind his own business. He shrugs and says that someone had to take charge of the situation and anyway there was no way he was going to let her abuse his grandmother. Marianna says that he should tell that nosy old hag to mind her own business. Martin grabs her hair and makes her face him.

He tells her that his grandmother is a lady, something a trashy bimbo like her will never be. He then lets her go. Marianna glares at him and tells him that she doesn't care what he thinks of her because he is irrelevant. He ignores her, then while calling her little witch, says she should take, a few minutes to compose herself. He then turns and walks away from her. Marianna sighs and rolls her eyes at him.

Meanwhile, Gina has just told Hector that John wants to talk to him. Hector tells Gina that they will have to talk later. She rolls her eyes but agrees. She then gives her father her phone. He greets Hector and then asks him how the baby is doing. Hector can't lie about the baby's condition and tells his father that the baby is seriously sick.

Meanwhile, tests are done, on those who are there and are eligible to donate, as they begin to search for a compatible donor.

The next day, on Tuesday,

Early in the morning,

Gina decides that she is going to the hospital, whether her brother likes it or not. She has to see her niece and be there for her stubborn brother. She gets out of bed and then goes to the balcony of Antonio's room and looks out. She silently prays that nothing happens to her niece. Antonio, who is still getting ready for work, comes back into the room. He finds, her still looking out. He asks her, what she was doing. She says that she was praying for her niece. She adds that she will go and visit her later in the day. He moves ahead and hugs her, then adds that he will join them there as well.

Meanwhile, Claudia goes to Horacio's office, to look for him, so that they can talk. Luckily he isn't too busy and she finds him.

Meanwhile, the baby isn't doing much better, and the test results are back. They reveal that only Isabella's are a perfect match. Marianna is still at the hospital. Hector manages to get someone at work to cover him and was also at the hospital. He sighs when he hears the news. He says to himself that Isabella doesn't do anything out of kindness, and she will use this to her advantage.

EPISODE 75

 

Elsewhere, Martin and Hector are at Martin's house. Hector tells Martin what he just heard about the children. Martin is shocked.

Later that night, at Aurelio's home. Aurelio has just arrived. He senses that Aranza knows something because she looks restless and jumpy. He asks her what gossip, Adrianna, and Gina fed her with. Aranza asks him why he is asking. Aurelio says that she is bursting with nosiness. She rolls her eyes at him and then says that what just happened is very serious. He asks her how serious it is. She says it is serious enough for Gina and Hector to request an emergency family meeting. Aurelio asks her to tell him what is going on.

At Juan Patricio and Claudia's house, Claudia is trying to convince Antonio to leave Gina but he is adamant he won't do that. Claudia asks him why he is still with her, when her son, isn't his. Antonio says he loves her, and that is enough. Claudia sighs in frustration. She then asks him to think of the scandal that would happen, if the story, came out, and how it might affect the children. Antonio tells her to stop being so melodramatic. He says that, if they are all mature, especially, her, Horacio, and Isabella, there is no reason why any of the children will suffer. Claudia looks at Antonio in frustration.

Meanwhile, Aurelio is shocked. He asks Aranza what she thinks, will happen. She says she isn't sure, but she is afraid, Antonio and Gina and Hector and Adrianna might have to break up. She then adds that she doesn't want them to break up, because they love each other, and they are her favorite people on earth. He hugs her and says that he also feels sorry for the children to be conceived under all the mess. Aranza says she does too.

At Martin's house,

Martin and Hector are discussing what will happen next. Hector says that Gina talked to Luisa and they are having a meeting with everyone else the next day in the afternoon to tell them. He adds that he wants to stay by Adrianna's side, but he knows, Marianna and Alejandro won't make anything easy.

Elsewhere, at Antonio's house, Emma and Adrianna are still there. Gina says she'll do a DNA test, but it's all mostly a matter of formality. Adrianna agrees it's a good idea.

Later on, sometime after Antonio has left, Juan Patricio arrives. Claudia tells him that something has happened and they need to talk. He says to himself that she's probably being dramatic, and had an argument with Antonio as usual, but he will humor her anyway.

Meanwhile, Helena has just told Carlos what Alejandro told her. Like everyone else, he is shocked. He says that the company will be negatively affected if they are involved in such a scandal. Helena says that the issue has to be shushed up.

Back at Juan Patricio and Claudia's house, Claudia has already told him the truth. He is of course shocked. She adds that she dreads the scandal that would occur if this came out. He agrees that this has to be dealt with. He adds that one way or the other, Antonio and Gina have to be made to see sense.

On Saturday,

Hector and Anna Patricia go to visit John. He looks at Hector and asks him if he is okay. Hector says that he is fine, but John (Gabriel) looks at him like he doesn't believe a word he is saying. His father made a face that Aranza would make when she too didn't believe what she was being told. Despite the situation, Hector smiled. John asks him what was so funny.

He tells him that, when he reacted that way, he looked so much like someone who is like a (pause), little sister to him. John says that he would love to meet her one day. He adds that being around the same company, same environment, same routine for years, on end, gets boring and mind rotting. He adds that new company is always welcome.

Meanwhile, Antonio hears a knock on the door and goes to open it. He is shocked to see both his grandparents. He says to himself that things won't end well. Claudia and Juan Patricio enter. Gina is in the room with, the baby.

Meanwhile at Hector's house, Adrianna's phone rings. It is an unknown number. She picks, it up. It is Alejandro. She asks him what he wants. He says he wanted to check up on her and their daughter. Adrianna says that all communication between them will be, through official channels, and not through any unknown or blocked numbers. Alejandro ignores her and says that what he wants most is for, them to be a family with their daughter. Adrianna sighs and hangs up. Alejandro says that he won't rest until he marries her. He adds that she is his and his alone.

Back at Antonio's house, Gina has joined Antonio and his grandparents, in the sitting room. Juan Patricio gets down to business and says that the visit isn't a social one. He tells Antonio and Gina that they all know the reason for the visit. Juan Patricio says that they need to talk about the children.

Meanwhile, Adrianna hears a knock on the door and goes to open it. Fearing it might be Alejandro, she asks who it is. It is her aunt, Helena. Adrianna sighs and breathes deeply then goes to open. Helena looks around with distaste, then moves to go and sit down. Adrianna rolls her eyes and then goes to join her aunt.

Back at Antonio's house, Juan Patricio is still trying to convince Gina and Antonio to break up. Antonio holds Gina's hands and says that he loves her and he will not leave her. Claudia, buts in and asks Gina, if she feels any shame in denying an innocent child the right to live with his father. Gina looks Claudia, straight in the eye, and says that she and the child are innocent victims of whatever mess, is going on at the moment. She adds that she loves, Antonio, and doesn't want to give him up.

She adds that Isabella's son is always welcome and she won't mistreat him, because he is an innocent victim of his mother's scheming. Claudia is surprised, that Gina looked at her in the eye, and at her words. Antonio is proud of her for standing up to his grandmother. He says to himself that his grandmother can be a bully, and scares people. He adds still to himself, that sometimes even he is scared of her.

Back at Hector's house, Adrianna has folded her hands. She asks her aunt why she came. Helena looks at her niece, and she says to herself that Adrianna is so much like her father. Helena says that she came to talk about the baby. Adrianna, says that she is sure, Alejandro is the one who told her what happened. Helena says that, what happened, has already happened and they all need to move on.

Adrianna says that she is moving on with Hector and her daughter. Helena irritatedly looks at Adrianna and says that's not what she means. She adds that she (Adrianna) should move on with Alejandro, and let Marianna and Hector raise their daughter. Helena adds that whatever fantasy she was living with Hector, was nice while it lasted, but now it was over.

Back at Antonio's house, despite Claudia and Juan Patricio's best efforts, Antonio and Gina continued to stick with each other.

Meanwhile, at Isabella's house,

Horacio, Marianna, Isabella, and Alejandro are, touching base. Isabella says that now is the time to roll out the second phase of their plan, the threats. She says that it's now up to them, (Alejandro and Horacio) because she and Marianna have done their part.

Meanwhile, at Antonio's house, the Ortiz family, are meeting. Aranza and Emma are also there. Clara says that tough times are coming ahead, so they need to be strong.

Two days later on Monday,

Gina is happy, because starting that day, she can finally resume visiting her father. Her happiness is however clouded by the issues surrounding her son.

Meanwhile, at Marianna's house, she is there with the baby and the girl who comes in during the day. The baby is crying. Marianna and the girl do everything they can to help her, and she stops crying but they notice that her temperature is very high. Marianna says that they will call Hector later, but first, they have to take the child to the hospital.

Isabella meanwhile is, out shopping. Staying in the house for the past month, nearly killed her with boredom. She says that finally, she is away from Gina's brat.

Back in the neighborhood, Anna Patricia is returning home from running errands. She has a shopping bag in her hand and opens the door. She enters and is about to close the door when she sees Carlos. She knows trying to close the door on him is futile because he is physically much stronger than her. Carlos seizes her confusion and enters. He pushes the door shut. Anna Patricia, places her shopping bag, by the side of the door.

Meanwhile, Marianna and the house help have arrived at the hospital and the child is undergoing tests. She also calls Hector. He says that he will get off work as soon as he can.

Back at Ramon and Clara's house,

Anna Patricia tells Carlos that she isn't interested in him and that she will never get tired of reminding him how much he disgusts her. Carlos mocks her and says he can see how desperate she is to be pining after her mad man. Anna Patricia says that what she does is her business and that she owes him no explanations. Carlos surprises her and grabs a fistful of her hair. He then makes her face him and says that he always gets what he wants one way or the other. He tries to kiss her, but she pushes him hard until he falls.

Anna Patricia is pissed off and tells him that, he should never repeat that again. Carlos wakes up again and says that she will pay for that. He adds that, if he even gets a whiff of her having a relationship with her mad man, he will kill him (John). Just then her phone rings. She glares at Carlos and goes and picks it up. It is Hector and he asks her if it was a bad time. She says it wasn't, and that she was just doing some chores. Anna Patricia senses some distress in his voice and says that he is the one who doesn't sound okay.

He tells her that his daughter is sick and that Marianna took her to the hospital. He says that he knows that Marianna isn't a very nice person and that they don't get along with her, but he really would like her to go and check on the baby. Anna Patricia says that it won't be a problem and that she will leave immediately.

Shortly after,

Hector then calls Adrianna and tells her about the baby. He also tells her that his aunt went to check on the baby on his behalf. Adrianna is genuinely worried about the baby and asks him to keep her posted.
